Las for me. Did a lot of superb work stopping the opposition playing.
  2. Some neat football at times, and a crucial, absolutely crucial three points. We werea much better than the visitors in all departments, and they only looked like an attacking threat near the end when the game was done and dusted. This coming week is vital, go through that unbeaten and nick an away win and I'd say top six is looking good. After five defeats on the bounce we've done well to still be in with a chance, now two back-to-back wins (and shut-outs to boot) in the league and there you are, just a point off fifth. Give Jack and Victor the job now! Regarding the pitch, apparently foxes have been in at the pitch digging it up. That's something no pitch can guard against - unless you get in an Andy Russell-stylie dog to patrol the place. Nothing we could do with the pitch given the recent weather, can't imagine other pitches look like bowling greens anymore and the guys looking after it have done a magnificent job.
  3. Would have to agree. Felt Mugger Malcolm was a complete waste in a Motherwell jersey. More often than not he'd just wander around waiting to pick up a booking. Not worth the inflated wages that he seems to somehow be able to demand.
  4. 4-1 to Motherwell. Gaun the lads

    Game On Tv

Just saw the 021 Television artic struggling badly to get into the side road by the South Stand. Those road works are an absolute nightmare.
  6. Aye, we fu**ed up tonight. Onwards to Saturday. Would've loved Hampden again, but League is always more important. Huge disappointment of course, but that's Motherwell. Sets us apart being able to take it and move on.
  7. Think they need to review booking folk for celebrating with their own fans. The speed the stewards moved to prevent the Motherwell players getting anywhere near their own fans after the 2nd and 3rd goals made Usain Bolt look like he was static. Folk shouldn't get booked for that, I know it's deemed leaving the field of play without permission and all that but I feel it's a piece of nonsense. Quality goals from Motherwell, first two especially, brilliant stuff.
  8. Inverness advertising for assistance ahead of the game.... Help.....
  9. Thought it was really funny hearing a Kilmarnock manager admitting the opposition scored a really good goal and looked the better team......
  10. That's a simply outstanding result today. Confidence clearly back in the squad, enjoying their football, and the rot has been well and truly halted. From a dire, depressing and downright miserable December, all of a sudden we've got a smile back on our faces. Cheers to Jack and Victor
  11. Someone just needs to say to him that, if regular first-team football is more imporant than watching each game from the stands, then head to Fir Park.......
  12. I don't think the Kilmarnock players will get the normal boost you'd get with a new manager. Unlike the norm, he's only their for four months and the players will again have to impress a new man at the end of the season. Motherwell to bring home all three points, another 3-1 win.
  13. Anderson is probably in a similar situation re wages........ ANDERSON RELEASED BY BLACK CATS Sunderland defender Russell Anderson has had his contract terminated by mutual consent. The Scotland international has been beset by injuries since moving to the Stadium of Light from Aberdeen in 2007. The 31-year-old had made over 300 appearances during a 10-year spell at Pittodrie but was limited to a single substitute outing for the Black Cats against Wigan in 2007. He spent the final stage of the 2007-08 season on loan at Plymouth but suffered a cruciate ligament injury when on loan at Burnley the following season, which kept him out for 14 months. Sunderland manager Steve Bruce said: "This decision has been taken with Russell to give him an opportunity to find a club where he can fulfil his desire to play more first team football. "He has been very unfortunate with injuries since he came here but his attitude and determination to get back playing have been exemplary. We wish him all the very best for the future." Anderson has previously been linked with a move to Hibernian.
  14. Noticed on the SFA website that.... In other words, had we went for Tuesday and it finished a draw, the replay would be just 24 hours later! As it is, the replay would be 48 hours afterwards.

Like to think Boyle knows that Jeffries is not going to work in any way positively at Fir Park. The fans wouldn't welcome it. No thanks.
  20. Certainly wasn't there 10 minutes ago! Be a busy week up-and-coming!

They do have a label saying "made in China" on the inside. Where are the rugby shirts made?
  23. I thought Elliott did well today. rarely wasted the ball and looked a far more accomplished player than the one who left us all them years ago. And, despite not having played competatively since last March, lasted a full 88 minutes.
  24. 5th Round Draw Dunfermline Ath (or possible Stenhousemuir) v Morton/Celtic Forfar/Saint Johnstone v Dundee United Hibernian v Edinburgh City/Montrose Livingston/Dundee v Ayr United/Brechin City Raith Rovers/Airdrie United v Aberdeen Kilmarnock/Falkirk v Inverness CT/Motherwell Saint Mirren v Rangers/Hamilton Ac Ross County/Inverurie v Albion Rovers/Stirling Albion
  25. Immediately after Accies - Rangers. Edinburgh City/Montrose at Fir Park. The way Montrose are playing, it's likely to be City.
