  1. Who went down injured? Looked a very nasty twisted knee part-way though the pictures, hope the person who suffered aint badly injured.

    Under 19,s

Heard the Under 17s beat Jerviston 21-1.......
  3. Laughed out very loudly indeed when Reid fell on his ar*e. That's a fantastic moment indeed
  4. Just seen the highlights too. Their keeper had an inspired game, any other day Reynolds late effort would have slotted under the keeper and in. Any point away from home is a point gained in my opinion, to be unbeaten on our travels at the beginning of December (our next away game aint until then) is the sort-of stuff we never could have dreamt of. Aye, it could have been even better, but way back in June when McGhee left, who would have said no to what we have now?
  5. Their keeper has had a blinder today as well apparently. Happens sometimes.
  6. Hamilton kit man sent to the stand. Can't recall that happening before........
  7. 10 bob for the meter..............
  8. I'd be more concerned if we weren't creating. Just gotta keep plugging away and it'll happen for us.
  9. I'd agree with moving Humprey out wide. If O'Brien is tearing Hastings a new butt, then going twin-pronged just might dot the trick.
  10. Feck! Still, heads up and keep it going.
  11. Time for a change, then. Gerrintatthem!
  12. Aye, recall that as well. Had driven all the way up from Warrington especially for the game then that..........
  13. We lost 0-7 to them early on the season we came back up in 1982. Took half-an-hour to go behind, then it never stopped. Still, come January, and it was a different story..........
  14. Unsurprisingly, BBC Scotland seem to have forgotten how to get to Fir Park..........
  15. Last Tuesday night was the bad result you nearly always get with the Monthly awards. Certain of that...........
  16. There have been a few I'd have to admit. 1996 we went to Greyksull and were wiped 5-0, it was more the manner of defeat than anything else, though we did go back there later that season and stop the 9-in-a-row conga day. Also lost 5-0 at Legoland again with a wimp of a performance. Probably angriest I've been was a 0-2 reversal at the old Broomfield in season 84-85, that really got me seriously pissed that day.
  17. According to TV evidence, your greatest celebration appeared to have been Dougie Arnott's first in the 3-0 thrashing we gave Rangers a fortnight before we won the cup. Certainly looked like you enjoyeed it on the telly Andy
  18. That raised a smile with me. I was in Tunisia in a Liverpool bar full of Shellic fans and they fair let me know at half-time how things were going. Thought me health had expired when Kinni put us 4-3 up (I somewhat roared uncontrollably) as there were some grumblings going on all around me though, as you say, their late leveller (still maintain Hartson fouled in the lead up) seemed to placate them a bit.
  19. Yer right, I've got it the wrong way round (it was 25 years ago you know......). Blair set him up!
  20. Anyone else recall wee Fergus deciding for some reason to walk along the cinder track near the away end and receive no end of abuse from the healthy number of 'Well fans?
  21. Pretty sure Gary Mac set up Raymond Blair who scored. Then big Psycho Forbes almost won it right near the end. I can remember the first game and how big the steps were at Hampden compared to other terracing we'd been on that season. Did well in the replay and it took Shellic 72 minutes to break us down.
  22. I remember that one vividly, especially Mio thinking about hurdling the advertising board and joining us in the terracing though he quickly thought twice about it. Was a brilliant goal and such a fitting scorer that day.
  23. I remember that! Think each one of us was standing grouped around with heads in hands wondering if it'd go in or not...and then going mental as Froan sank it with ease!
  24. Softie's equaliser in the 93rd minute at Tannadice in the Scottish Cup back in 1994. 1-2 down and Softie banged in a screamer from inside the box. We were all still housed in the short bit of terracing which sits to the right of the dug-outs, barely enough room between folk to squeeze a fart out, but it was absolute bedlam when we drew level. Pity about the replay, should've won the cup that year to be honest.
  25. McGhee's interests in anything other than Motherwell and our club's future were to blame. Made no preparations squad-wise for Europe and it showed. Gannon was just in the process of building a squad and come January will continue this. We'll be fine.
