  1. If anyone's interested, I got me pics up on Bebo now from yesterday.......
  2. Anyone who was on the Buses will no doubt have noticed the "des res" housing which was to our left. And there were people still living in some of those flats!!
  3. Yer right there, as noticed by everyone on the way out. Some were on the verge of tears!
  4. And some of their "chances" are somewhat tenuous to say the least. You would have thought from that we were completely hemmed in the entire 90, it was only like that really in injury time. Stats yesterday... 9 Shots On Target 4 12 Shots Off Target 1 10 Fouls (Conceded) 9 14 Corners 10 1 Yellow Cards 1 0 Red Cards 0 They had clearly more "efforts on goal" but it depends on what you actually call an effort on goal, beit wide of the target. 10 corners to their 14 suggests clearly we were more of an attacking threat than that video suggests! Had to laugh at Real Radio on the way back on the bus, going on about McCourt and how the text they received (they were obviously watching the Sporting Life website) said he was the key player and should have started. Baws! McCourt did exactly what he did against Rangers, constantly ran into cul-de-sacs and lost the ball time and again.
  5. I was unsure of his ability given he hadn't set the heather alight elsewhere, but he's been superb for us and another of Jimbo's magic buys. Terrific player.
  6. Once the video finishes, it goes to a page of other "shellic" videos. No wonder it looks like your typical BBC Scotland editing..........
  7. Aye, I was there today. Good turnout from the 'Well fans and we once again easily outsung the hordes around us. 58,000??!?!!? Usual crap, loads of empty seats in the home areas. I know they count season ticket holders, time to change that and only count those who actually turn up.
  8. Robson is exactly the same. Broon was a fud today as is his usual.
  9. Thought we thoroughly deserved our point today. Some terrific performances, Reynolds and big Yass were tops for me tough Jutkewicz did a great job on his own up front. Had to laught at the Shellic fans who were very "gracious" at failing to win. Jim Gannon - magic!
  10. I'm looking forward to Saturday. No reason to fear them, been anything but convincing this season. I know we haven't been playing particularly well recently, I still think we can get a couple of goals on Saturday. A point a piece.
  11. I still think Britton would have hit the Civic Centre with it had McDonald squared the ball. He was just that crap. I recall a Shellic fan pestering me all the way up Knowetop Avenue to buy my season ticket off me for the game. Even when I wouldn't budge at £400 (as if he really ever had that much) he got quite pissed off and began the abuse, with "away ye fecking go and watch yer scum gettin humped". Was quite disappointed I didn't see him after the game. Or the Rangers fans sitting immediately in front of us. They were quite open about it, and left at half-time as "we've lost the league now" was their summing up. And their fans still can't understand why they are so disliked.
  12. It's got me thinking this. Just about to enter the stadium in Utrecht all them years ago and we bumped into Luc Nijholt and his missus. Took loads of time out to chat to us, and reiterated just how much he wanted to come back to Fir Park in some capacity. Really decent bloke. Hopefully some day!
  13. Hope no-one minds me starting a thread on this, but I was interested to note that just 51 tickets have sold at Fir Park for this coming match! Anyway, nothing to fear going there, thoughts and predictions?
  14. Met him when we won 2-0 a the New Bayview in a LC tie a few years ago. He offered to buy me and Jamsie a beer but I had to decline as I was driving. Seemed bizarre to refuse a drink from a multi-millionaire!
  15. Knew big Shivute when he was at Fir Park, fixed his internet for him and did a great inverview with him which was published in the Namibian national press!!!! Really nice bloke too. Met the late, great Uncle Phil who came over to a school fete in North Motherwell three years ago. Couldn't be nicer, very approachable and willing to chat for ages about anything. A really great loss.
  16. That just brings back so many memories of that idiot Keevins on the steps of Hampden those two nights. Funny thing was, soon as the decision was made, I swear he disappeared out the back entrance as the news was so bad for him and his Meejia cronies. Erse.
  17. Bad loser, or just tongue-in-cheek....... Bleating Bairn.......
  18. Rancid story firstly? Hmmm......I smell bulls**t.......

    Co-op Draw

I see Shellic v FHW have prices set at £10 and £3 for all round the stadium, restricted view at £8......
  20. Man speaks the truth for me. It's nothing short of remarkable thinking we are sitting where we are in the table having been the position we were in just two days short of the first leg against Llanelli.

    Betty Pryde

Really, really sad to hear this. RIP Betty.
  22. That's the case. Pretty sure Scotland have a friendly now on that date.

    Jim O'Brien

Hope not. But seems to me that McNamara was determined to hurt Jim everytime he went near him.
  24. In a results-driven business, we did the business today. Good three points, Falkirk now five on the bounce without a goal. Nice to get another shut-out as well. Joint-third at the beginning of October, aye, when a certain previous manager left we'd all have jumped at the chance.
  25. Fantastic 3-0 win for the Under 19s against former league leaders Hibs today, well done lads!!!!!!! Oh yeh............!
