Lets face it, Hibs and hearts in separate divisions or in the second top division together, what makes more sense? Would give the Championship a derby (with the Edinburgh two) and a team with a big support (Sevco) to raise gate receipts! Even without the presence of Hibs and Hearts, I could see Sevco struggling next season.

Yes! Makes sense too! Keeps the Edinburgh Derby (which is of financial interest to Hibs and Hearts) Gives them time to Gel a new team together and for them both come back up at the end of next season. Plus it will have the bonus effect of making the championship a bit more interesting and competitive next season. Haven't had a look at the Championship league table but can see Hibs and Hearts down this season, with Dundee and Hamilton coming up. Makes commercial and financial sense more than anything.

How many of these guys are still playing? Am I right in presuming (at least on the Motherwell side) that Hammell and Las are about only two that are still currently playing today, or is that prick McCulloch still playing?

The championship will be a tight league this year and with Hibs and Hearts going down this year I can see Rangers spending at least one more season in the championship.

True, although could say the same for Moving down south, particularly going from Scotland to the Southern parts of England. I would think the prospect of moving or upheaval would have to be something you are prepared for when becoming a professional footballer? I'm sure Shaun Hutchinson would have experienced a certain amount of upheaval and cultural change moving from Newcastle to Lanarkshire.

Motherwell need your support, Hibernian need the loss in revenue. Answer? Go to the game, as many have as many people as possible claim concession tickets only take a full price ticket if you really have to. Also when your in the ground, don't buy programs or refreshments (pie, bovrils or whatever floats your boat). That way they are getting their basic money from the gates and that is it. Our team is getting the support their team is getting minimum income from it. Don't think it is too much to ask not to pay £1.80 -£2.00 for a pie ye get from the butchers for 80p
