10 mins from the end Celtic fans (for reasons fuck all to do with a football game in Scotland) unfurled a banner about Palestine, Israel, Zionism etc... Just to add to the NI conflict shite.

Whatever your viewpoint, its a fitba game in Scotland FFS

    So nothing about hamas then.

My main issue I have with it is that it tribalises the matter and certain slebberers think they have to shout "fuck palestine" etc, just to say the opposite of what "they" say.

Yes we didnt get started really. Spl is kind oj a joke. Millionsaire clubs against decent pros. Wont miss brenda and sevco if they joined english lower leagues.

Also dont know what irish flags and hamas are to do with Scottish football?

Thought we performed reasonably, game was killed by two decent goals. A let down but nothing embarassing. Up against the financial and institutional establishment, it'll be tough until something changes.

What was the thing about Hamas?

I have to say I was embarrassed by some of the foaming at the mouth bigots around me in the well end, nazi salutes in particular.  The palestine thing is virtue signalling wankery, trying to tribalise a serious issue, but some of the sleberring it provoked in our end was just as shite

  3. I found Athens amazing. The 'nice part' was awesome, wee back streets near the acropolis, street artist, ancient ruins were all pretty memorable. Fair enough the urban part was a shit hole but it was avoidable.

  4. 170k for a first team player with 2 years left on his contract is utterly shite, whether he was free in the first place or not. The fact that he's on small wages is a reason to keep him on.

IMO Ojamaa brings at least as much to the team as Murphy and we're talking about 200k+ for him when he only has 6 months left!

  5. Higdon banned for a celebration we have seen a million times.

Randolph banned for something we have seen a million times.

Divers and cluggers allowed free reign. Bizarre.

They know wee Motherwell will generally just bend over and take it. If it was celtic, rangers, hearts for example there's more chance they'd kick up a fuss over it.

  6. Don't be a complete bell end.

Where exactly did I say that? Or are you trying to be that much of a smart arse you didn't read the post through your Ribena ?

My point was I feel we were too quick to get rid of him. It's not secret that I was a fan of his and feel he got a raw deal since the time of Browns arrival until he left. I just feel its ironic as I believe he could add something to this team right now.

Didn't say you did, didn't mean to be a smart arse neither if you'll forgive me, but Forbes had how many years to prove himself? Aside from his impressive start he was completely ineffective and far too slow for this level. A lot of folk predicted he'd do well at a lower level cos he'll have time and space that he wouldn't get in the SPL.

  7. Ross fucking Forbes is the answer to our woes!!

I agree with the overall opinion. Missing Jennings and Craigan. However, I think we're creating enough chances, we just don't seem to have a finisher on form, someone who can get a good powerful shot away at all. I'm hopeful our strikers will come good at some point and we'll hit some form for a bit.

  8. I can't believ Humphrey is getting criticism. I thought last night was one of his best game in a long time! Was very effective in getting the ball into danger areas.

And as for Higdon, why is it when Humphrey/Murphy/Ojamaa have a bad run people say they should get a spell on the bench (rightly so) but when Higgy has a bad run it's some sort of hate crime to suggest giving him a break?

  9. Sevco please. Home preferably. Think we need another chance to redeem ourselves.

Funnily enough agree. The manager's lost a lot of goodwill over the last debacle I think. To redeem ourselves would be good for the club as a whole.
