A wee bump for this ahead of tomorrow night, all your usual OSB sellers will be out at the usual spots before the Killie game, and don't forget you can purchase your copy of Fatcalf's new book on the night too.

I planning to go to the ground on the 29th by myself, for myself if others do the the same then that's up to them..Sounds like a plan mate, I'll be there too.

Anyway......back to the fitba! This is a must win for me, as are the two games following this one. Nine points could see us back in the top six again, which shows how tight things are this season.
Of course, if it goes wrong between now and the new year then we could be bottom, but let's hope not!
With Coach out I'd play Maros at right back with Boab at centre half. Up front I'd get Clarky back in the starting X1 again. So therefore my line-up would look like this:
Smith
Klimpl
Malcolm
Reynolds
Hammell
Lasley
Hughes
Fitzpatrick
Murphy
Porter
Clarkson
I'm going for a Well win, no idea of a scoreline but reckon Clarky will be amongst the goals.

i always thought the spl side got priorityApparently they take it turn to move their games, and its United's turn this time, rather unhelpfully!

I'll be at my usual spot outside the gates of the East Stand from about 7pm on Monday, books and OSBs for sale. No excuses people!

Just one of those things really, although surely it canny be that tough to ensure that United and Dundee aren't at home on the same day?!!

I think the ICT game with be an emotional occasion for us all, and the first anniversary of Uncle Phil's passing should be marked. My opening suggestion would be a full minute's round of applause right on 78 minutes.
Its not intended to be too morbid, but for me that would be really moving and very simple to carry out, dignified too.
In terms of Andy Thomson, I mind him popping into the old Sports Division shop from time to time when I worked there. The last time was a week before his ill-fated birthday when I recall slagging him for a truly horrendous jumper!
I remember hearing about his passing on the phone and almost dropping it, terribly sad and I hope Motherwell FC never has to deal with anything like this again.

Isn't it funny how we look back with a strange affection for some of our duffers?!!
Take Mark Caughey for example. Signed from Accies with a great goalscoring record, yet in 17 games for us he only managed one...an oggie on his debut against Hearts!
That said, he did net a hat trick in the Reserve Cup Final against Celtic in 1988 which we won 4-2, so not all bad!

I don't just want us to beat Killie, I want them hammered. Shite team with the crabbitest bad loser of a manager known to man.
-
Seeing as neither of the Old Firm have been fined or faced a points deduction yet, as they could have for sectarian offences, I suspect that nothing will happen to us, except maybe a ticking off.
-
Wonder if guys like Robbie Winters and Mo Ross would do a turn? They have been playing in Scandinavia and would be available now. In midfield both Lappin and Mark Fotheringham aren't getting a game at Norwich, and for me both would be great additions.

I got mine last weekend, a half decent idea cos it benefits Well fans only. Here's hoping there are some initiatives ahead of next season that help the loyal season ticket holders too, think we deserve it!
-
I'm not sure we'll sell it out, considering its the last Saturday before crimbo and its on Setanta. Can't see me being there if I'm honest, money is tight.

Well I'm glad the boards weren't around during the poor run lately, always hard to read the same moaners who seemingly can't wait for the next crap performance! So it was a godsend not to be able to trwl through the wreckage!
Nice to be back though, and here's hoping it heralds three points against Killie a week today!

A disappointingly low allocation for us, I'm not sure they will have 2000 fans wanting to go, but its their right to look after their fans first.
