It's on the evening times website that Inverness caley are looking at midfielder Gary Harkins from Partick. Not sure if there is any truth in it but if there is I would like to see us challening for his signature. He has been Partick's top performer this season and Aberdeen had a bid for 50k turned down a while back. Report says Partick estimate his value at around 100k.

Few first division players i'd take: Partick Thistle - Gary Harkins and Liam Buchanan Clyde - Pat Clarke Livi - Leigh Griffiths, Dave Mckay, James McPake I know a lot of people would say if you buy first division players then thats where you'll end up but Bryson at Killie has made a big impact as have the guys at Dundee Utd who've made the step up. Whether we could afford any of them is another matter! I'd imagine all would command fews

I tend to agree re. Nijholt. What has he done to suggest he would be the answer to our problems? He has only had managerial experience with one club (in the lower leagues of Dutch football as Dodge says). At the moment he is assistant manager at Red Bull Salzburg working under Co Adriaanse where i'm sure he'll learn a lot. One to consider for the future but not at the moment thanks.

I agree with you that now is not the time to throw youngsters in at the deep end - we need experienced heads to guide us through this poor patch. No one is arguing that we are a bottom six team. However, our recent form is unacceptable. Whats that? 1 goal scored in 6? 5 defeats on the bounce. We have the players to stay up. Whether they are up to the challenge and are used in the right tactics is another matter.

In all honestly if you read the report it says Forest watched Adam in a reserve game during the week. I don't think them announcing their interest is all down to what Mark McGhee said on a radio show.

I remember he used to bang the goals in for Cowdenbeath and has carried that on since joining the jags. The players that have joined Dundee Utd, Caley and Killie have done well since making the step up.
