Last Sunday i read with bemusement an article in notw about Motherwell having a 20 year old on trial who was in Chelsea's academy.While i accept at times it is imperative that players are brought in within time constraints i despair at the chances of the indigenous young players from Lanarkshire who are trying to make a career in soccer.

Would it be feasible for Motherwell fc to set up a kind of savings thing whre through the course of a year fans could put money away for next years book? Maybe the club could gain the interest or something?

Martin Corrigan was a great club servant but i think the "legend" tag is perhaps taking it a wee bit too far.
