Voted for Craigan Las is not fit for long enough and Reynolds too young what happened when Chelsea went down in 78/79 with Wilkins captain proves what happened with young capteins.

nethertonwellfan is SPOT ON everyone needs to keep, their head now this is Gannons biggest job to date and he is finding his way still but LAS and Craigan if possible need played.
Next week wheels will be back on the wagon monkeys sent back across the Clyde .

I doubt if the manager would agree but i want more experience in the team starting today id bring in Lasley and Craigan whom i hope one day is the manager.Does no one else think Jamie Murphy must be played as a striker?

I've always preferred playing football as to watching it. When i was younger all my mates were Gers fans and my first top was a Rangers top bought by my cousins boyfriend at the time. From the age of 5 I went to atleast 5 games a season with my Grandpa, Aunt and Uncle. Got a schools season ticket for the 02-03 season I think it was and I've been going ever since, this is the first year I've not had a season ticket but im getting a 'half' season ticket.
Basically I'm a fan because they're my local team.
Remember Ibrox 97 Frazer i wont be forgetting that one in a while .

Jim O Brien is the only wide player at Motherwell who is a regular starter that is a fact.

Some people do not seem to know the difference between a winger and a fullback who is supposed to run up and down the touchline all day.Davie Cooper was a winger Peter Marinello was a winger Jim o Brien is too although not as good as previous mentioned.Stevie Hammell is not a winger.

Around the time i started going regularly to Fir Park i remember my father saying to me something along the lines of teams are more interested in avoiding defeat than trying to win and bemoaning the lack of wingers.
Fast forward to this season and i must admit being incredulous at seeing my favourite team line up 4 2 3 1 against the might of Falkirk and this at our own park not theirs.
As i go to Fir Park mostly to be entertained ( if i merely went to see a win id go somewhre else) i think once this season is finished it will be junior football for me.
I will also point out my son will too be lost to the finance of Motherwell fc.

Im looking froward to seeing this lad play and think the club will get good effort from him and hopefully no little skill.

I think like some others Marc Fitzpatrick is an under rated player and as everne knows has contributed to the teams success in the past and i dont just mean the Hearts semi.
As Melvyn said someone has to do the dirty jobs , along the same lines i dont want to get the lynch mob out but S Hammell needs to learn to tackle.

I dont know about other people but for myself i am getting pig sick of everyone going on about the previous manager. Iam delighted Jim Gannon chose to become our manager and while i accept there will be set backs i think he will do a fine job.Lets focus on our team what happens at Fir Park and forget MGhee and whatever he does or does not do in land of sheep.

I feel a wee bi smug cos like London Irish Mr Gannon was my pick to replace McgHEE and for me the only concern i have is the POSSIBLE future trouble with officialdom for critising refs. Love the way he tells it like it is and really hope he around for long time to come.

If these people at Radio Scotland would update their website i would not have started this ,liked East stands reply though, according to lunchtime sports report it on tonight starting at 7pm i think.

Cant understand why the first game against Lanelli on Radio scotland and tonights is not when it seems a better edge(am meaning the club being 1 behind form first leg) for myself am pissed off cos i had already decided to save money for the first game of the season on August 15th.

Motherwells manager was 100% spot on in his comments i am completely behing Mr Gannon and hope everyone else is too.

I am pleased about this appointment as Jim Gannon is a an up and coming coach building his rep not one of the tired old faces who just wanted to get the boats in the public eye . 100% behind Mr Gannon

The Sun today reports that Jim Gannon will be new Well boss and will be unveiled on Monday . Myself i am delighted with this and feel as he done a good job with Stockport a similar sized club in England our club are in safe hands.

It is not crisis point but well need a win badly and i believe will get one i would like to see Murphy and Lukas as front two and i am also starting to wonder if MJC and lawsteelman from the other site are one and same as they post the same sort of drivel.
