I've followed Motherwell for over 40years and some rollercoaster ride it's been. However the march to the stadium took my breath away. Every time I stopped to take a look back and forward at the never ending line of 'Well fans my eyes filled up. The reaction of the cops and the look on faces of all the locals said it all really. It was a unique a very proud moment in claret and amber. Got a fright when Mitch took that tumble, but fortunately the bump missed his brain by 3 feet took THIS myself, when I realised my camera had video functionality

I've been on the rollercoaster ride for over 40 years, experiencing some major lows, ( 0-6 at Morton and 0-8 at Aberdeen a short time later), and some major highs, (Hampden '91, Dortmund, Nancy, etc.,), and my major gripe for this season is the seemingly gutless manner in which we lay down and capitulated very important matches; Europe, League Cup, Scottish Cup and last Saturday's St Mirren game to name but a few. Yes the team did well to recover from a bad phase, but Saturday was a major major let down with a Top-6 place there for the taking in a one-off fixture, and yes people will moan about it afterwards, it's human nature. I've cheered on McCallum to Klimpl and hunners in between, and will continue to do so until I fail to draw breath. I'll applaud when it's due and I'll moan like fekk when it's deserving, and after last Saturday it's very deserving IMHO.

Exactly ................. hope son, and father, enjoy the day. Took my Bun supporting 7yr old nephew to his 1st game at Fir Park, that 6-2 humping of Livingston in 2003. He's been a 'Well fan ever since and now has a ST in the East Stand.

Not displeasure Ian, more surprise really. I'm not pointing the finger at anyone for not attending. Didn't do it when I was a regular and even less reason to do so now. I was surprised however, at what IMHO was a low attendance for what was an important fixture for us.

You obviously earn a lot more than me and don't have single track roads and tractors to contend with. You have my respects thou, that's deserving of applause.
