Bit of a rep as a diver - heard he can't stand up for falling down...

Not the worst news in the world, Ripley has impressed me the more the seasons went on, another season up here would be good for all parties if he's no chance of no.1 at Boro,

Minus the wig obvs

Football. Bloody hell...

Odd based on McGhees previous 4-5-1 dictat against them in cup game, i.e. You need 5 to avoid them flooding midfield. Assume Skippy drops deep when needed, but a strong lineup nonetheless. Hopefully a win by the odd last minute goal to the good guys as payback for the cup and to secure our top 6 spot. This being Motherwell however...

KK for me. Beckenbauer-esque

In that context Melvin, probably our best result of the season for me.

Motherwell. Bloody hell...

...and an ex player scores a worldly. You couldn't write the script eh? Well, actually....

Gomis just ahead of Skippy for me. The latter giving his all in a thankless task, Gomis maybe guilty of overplaying in 2nd sometimes, but very tidy, composed and think he'll be an asset as rest of season unfolds

A complete clusterf**k of tactics and performance. Increasingly looking like the MOTM run was a dead cat bounce, and we're doomed. The Killie and Arabs games are increasingly looking like the last chance salon...

Wonder who'll be marking him at corners after last games screamer? Hmmmm.....

Canny see Gomis going on runs wide right the same as Grimshaw, he's more a central defensive Rottweiler type midfielder. Not that that's a bad thing per se, just they're fundamentally different in their attributes

Surprised there's been no developments on Faddy - would've been a good way to get an extra coupla hundred on the gate today

Vigurs is the archetypal languid trequartista. I'd have him back. Gotta love Jonathon Wilson...

Yup, Cadden deserves a start based on last weeks performance, pretty much our strongest lineup

County weak at the back by all accounts listening to today's game, trying to re-sign the Coltness Cafu back from Aberdeen, maybe back in time for Saturday. Let's revert to our normal back 4, put Las back in middle with Pearo, and hopefully we'll have enough up front with Skippy and Moult to shade it.

Run had to come to an end at some point, just wish it wasn't against the Jambos at Tynecastle....getting flashbacks to late 80s/early 90s
-
Pearo for me. Brace of goals and imperious throughout.
-
Pretty much a formality after first couple of goals but enjoyed all the same. Agree with the Faddy goal setup panto stuff, first time I've ever seen Skippy try to set someone else up when it'd be easier to score but , hey, canny begrudge a wee bit of sentimentality for a Well legend. Some nice footwork and setup stuff from yer man, for me Pearo was the highlight. Onwards and upwards

Thorntonhall to Motherwells a much better commute than Edinburgh, particularly if you've a young family. Clutching at straws possibly
