I saw our town centre being destroyed if that's what you mean, kinda liked the old layout, certainly better than what we have now. If I had been old enough yes I probably would have been against it whilst others suffered if that's what happened, considering what we ended up with definitely so.

Dress it up however you like but if we move to Ravenscraig we are effectively creating a franchise, the kind of which I've argued against countless times. It is going to be a new town, taking much needed investment away from my town, taking my fitba' cub with it will merely add salt to the wound as I see my town die through negligence of a council which is supposed to look after the interests of all it's citizens.

Very few OF fans leave Motherwell these days, town's full of bangers who wear the shirts yet never venture to a game, not even at Fir Park as used to be the case.

Statistics eh? The Old Firm draw their support from all over the country so any %age attributed to them doesn't stand up either but for talking sake our attendance is equivalent to 19% of Motherwell's population, that's good going as already stated.
