What a find Andra, haven't seen that in years. I tried to find this clip but was told lots of material had been destroyed including this one. How many more are out there I wonder. Andy Lynch's two OG's in a 3-0 win over Shellic perhaps?
  2. JB bought the debt from the club for £5,000 so he's made a nice wee profit there. What was that you were saying Diggler?

A nice wee smokescreen, we were losing fans hand over fist thanks to Boyle before this recession arose, his policies were driving folk away, it can only get worse now with the financial climate worsening.
  4. If he got the chance I dare say he'd jump at it, manners to wait til yer asked mind

    Chris Porter

Express reports same, he came here to better himself not go back to the same level he came from
  6. Why "Bizarrely", we have the best generic home strip by miles, just that our manufacturers fuck it up every now and then.
  7. Am all booked out. Nae mair ah tell thee
  8. You're right my mind won't be changed. As for following, that remains to be seen if and when it happens. Principles say no but obviously it would be hard to stop following the club after all this time. We'll see if and when it goes through. I could well be the grumpy auld baistard waving a big banner and shouting "Franchise" from the Civic Centre roof as youse all drive up the new Airbles Road flyover. Of course I recognise how old Fir Park is getting and how the club needs to continually move with the times but all this hotels and conference facilities pish does ma nut in. Still to be proven it would work for us and too much of a risk, stick to what we know, that's football. Going round in circles here, not much in the way of a convincing argument for moving still IMO and this is about the third time the topic has been brought up with probably 20 pages of guff that can't be proven until it actually happens.
  9. Well we're hardly likely to elect the Tories are we? Zero choice means we get monkeys continually voted in. Gave up on them fuckers yonks ago although good to see a couple of SNP cooncillors there now who I reckon nay know, can be trusted to do their best. Long term future of the club lies outwith the town? Not much of a choice there then either.
  10. I saw our town centre being destroyed if that's what you mean, kinda liked the old layout, certainly better than what we have now. If I had been old enough yes I probably would have been against it whilst others suffered if that's what happened, considering what we ended up with definitely so.
  11. Dress it up however you like but if we move to Ravenscraig we are effectively creating a franchise, the kind of which I've argued against countless times. It is going to be a new town, taking much needed investment away from my town, taking my fitba' cub with it will merely add salt to the wound as I see my town die through negligence of a council which is supposed to look after the interests of all it's citizens.

Hearts were as bad as we made them look so we must have done our jobs pretty well for them to look so bad
  14. How many of them moved to a new town though
  15. My fellow fans booing Calum Elliott when he came on, I was fuckin' applauding his introduction, sealed the win that did
  16. And naw ah didnae put a line on
  17. Get yir hoose on Ports to score the first goal on Wednesday then, just like big Lee did when the Tuaregs tried a similar unsettling tactic a few years back.
  18. Where's the clappy hands smillie when you need it
  19. We sold that balloon when we installed USH and bought it back (at a huge loss) last year. Allegedly!!!!!! (or maybe it was the covers we brought in for the rainy days, getting hard to remember all the twists n turns)
  20. Therein lies a question still to be resolved. Boyle supposedly scuppered more than one deal on the grounds he wanted to keep the stadium in his ownership. No doubt that question will be answered soon enough. Oh aye, a crumbling Barr Construction flat pack self build a la New Broomfield
  21. Would prefer a continuation of the local derbies even though we lose most of em. ICT for me, not before time tae
  22. Very few OF fans leave Motherwell these days, town's full of bangers who wear the shirts yet never venture to a game, not even at Fir Park as used to be the case.
  23. Statistics eh? The Old Firm draw their support from all over the country so any %age attributed to them doesn't stand up either but for talking sake our attendance is equivalent to 19% of Motherwell's population, that's good going as already stated.
