Just now, something else said:
No offence to Alan Burrows but he's not the guy we wanted negotiating with the SFA and Celtic.
Because......

It's better than Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, but not as good as Definitely Maybe.

Mind Cantona won the FA Cup for United with a broken wrist? #starsalign

There's no better occasion to find out if the legend of the Kipre back-flip is true.

No they wont , as long as Rangers finish no lower than 3rd in the league they will get an EL place no matter who wins the cup. The team who ends up in 4th will be cheering Celtic on as a Celtic cup win will get them an EL place.
That's exactly what he's saying. Aberdeen are on the same points, Hibs are only 3 behind.

See how the majority of folk said they would be happy with avoiding the playoff's this season? Were they all expecting some sort of weird anomaly of a season where you finish 10th AND win loads of games?

It's his last season, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the final as a curtain closer.

I think it was more a case of Goram being extremely inconsistent by the time he was with us. There were still moments of unbelievable goalkeeping there, he was just old and fat(ter), and had to wear more knee supports than he had knees just to keep his legs attached.

I would imagine they probably do in the EPL.
Is it still called the EPL?

Not comparing the quality of coach, but Phil Jackson for example...was never even a starting pick as a player in the NBA, went on to win 11 titles as a coach and oversee probably the best side the NBA has, or will ever see, Vince Lombardi, never even played professionally as he failed at semi-pro level American Football, but went on to be one most influential coaches in sporting history, let alone the NFL.
Again not comparing Woods to either of them, but coaching and playing have very little to do with each other.

Both games would be at that time if they could, but the Saturday one has to be finished by 3pm.

I'm just chucking this out there and many (most) will probably disagree, but if we make the Cup Final i'd rather be bottom 6. The more chance we have of arriving at the final with a winning mentality, the better. Not taking wins against bottom 6 for granted, but it's more likely.
This is assuming our safety is assured obviously.

Bookies paid out on both Main and OG for first goalscorer.

I'd definitely expect it to be a scoreboard as opposed to a screen.

Each to his own but after a momentous team effort and great result it is sad that a Well fan has to find one incident that has no bearing on the outcome to highlight and moan about.
Aye...polite, general discussion. Sad and terrible stuff right enough.

Lafferty ought to have been yellow carded at that point, not for the foul itself but for persistent fouling. The actual foul didn't seem that bad but was totally needless, stupid and potentially dangerous.
It wasn't a foul though, that's my point. It was a massive, embarrasing dive by Aldred.
-
I dunno how many of the people looking for action against Lafferty for the challenge on Aldred in front of the dugout, have seen it on TV...but it was a tad embarrassing to an almost cringe point, he baaaaarely touched him. No fan of Lafferty at all but Aldred's lucky to not get carded there.

Finally, really disappointing home crowd, less than 3000? Each to their own but I find the turnout baffling.
Everyone will have their own reasons obviously but personally, I spent 2hrs digging my car out and by the time I was finished thought "forget it", and went back in the house.

Well I made a bit of an arse of that. Putting in your personal details and the last question is "Who is your favourite player".
Didn't realise that was the actual vote! So it turns out Curtis Main has my vote for player of the year, despite only being here 10 minutes. Sorry Trev.

Main roads in Motherwell/Hamilton are fine you mean.
Go 7 miles up the road and Carluke was blocked in from all directions this morning. Supposedly Edinburgh got pummelled by the snow again lastnight. Trains were all off this morning and only running a few services today.
Hopefully it gets better and the games on, but I don't think its guaranteed.
I'm in Polmont right on the Edinburgh - Glasgow line and it's been snowing constantly for 3 days. There's just over 3 and a half feet of snow in parts of my garden.
Only train that's running this way is a half hourly GLA - EDI service via Falkirk High, which is being monitored. Even if the game's on there's no way I'll be able to make it unless there's a dramatic improvement over the next couple of days.

And the minor issue of the trains from Edinburgh needing to be back on....

I had always taken it as being a "compulsory sell" clause in that they couldn't sell him to anyone else, as opposed to a compulsory purchase.
I fully expect Rangers to have mysteriously decided against it for some reason.
