Stilll awake and have seen the goal on the tv now..... it just me or was big higgy as cool as he looked after he finished it when he sauntered twds the camera.......or was it a bit lucky!!! ( if so who cares!).

As prev mentioned respect to the jambos stewards and old bill.,,,,seen but not heard as far as I'm aware. Plus big respect to the old boy we met who was on his own, at the back of the stand. Sixty odd plus years watching our team and to see how much the result meant to him and what it will hopefully bring, considering all the well teams he's seen, was pretty special. Not sure he'll ever read this, but apologies for going a little mental when the big yin passed the baw into the bottom corner!!

Dont post often but feel the need to reflect on the game. We got what we deserved against the jambos, nothing. Just weren't at it at all. Ironic as normal, big support poor outcome. Having said that, disappointed at half time to hear a fair chunk of the away end boo us off the park. Dont get me wrong, every paying punter is entitled to their opinion but considering everything this season that pissed me right off!! Having said that can't remember an atmosphere like that at two zip down for a long time, fair play to everyone who contributed. A continuation of the cracking away days, bar the result, we've been lucky enough to enjoy this season,

Completely agree orinoco, though i would say like gow its not that much of a gamble given the length of deal, which if it goes well we benefit but may not work in our favour long term. And if thats the case and he leaves in the summer after a succesful spell (which by the way will benefit MFC) then i'm sure there'll be criticism for the manager/club in general for not tying him down on a longer term deal, most likely from the same quarters that are dishing out the pessimism and negativity before he even kicks a ball for us. Wishful thinking i know, but it'd be nice if we gave all our signings all a chance.

A first goal there to get us a result would be superb. But if he followed it up by scoring the winner the midweek after....... Perhaps optimistic, but you have to be!! But if/when he signs give the guy a chance. Pretty sure most would agree we do need another forward, and from the reports so far it'll only be a short term thing to start with. So if it works out then its good for us both, if not then we wont really have lost out.

Cameron works for real radio, and his job is to be as controversial as possible, so he'll always take things to the extreme to provoke as much response as he can. Pretty sure a radio phone in would struggle without this. Having said that, personally i'm not a fan by any means, but i dont see any problem with a radio station wanting to broadcast from fir park, no matter who the presenter/summariser may be.

When i got my tickets online you could buy seats anywhere in the POD, bar the section near the Cooper which was completely unavailable, which as was said earlier is probably for the visiting support. I'd go around 9000-9500. Anyone remember the attendance for the Nancy home leg?

If three sides of the ground are more or less sold out, it would be good if the club could sell the tickets for the south stand bottom tier first, try and get as many fans in the same area for the best possible atmosphere rather than a couple of thousand spread over two tiers.

Left footed, attacking player, and can chip in with some goals. Would be the type of player that would add to the existing squad we have.

That couldnt have went much better. Three points, clean sheet, first goal for big nick and a few players rested. Brilliant preparation for midweek. Roll on thursday

Good to see big Nick get a start, especially ahead of thu. Hopefully get 90 mins under his belt cos he could be a surprise starter in place of jenno on thu if broon goes for it from the start. Hope suttys not that unwell though he doesnt make midweek. Enough quality in that team today.

That seems a bit more like it. Still a bit surprised there wasnt a few more. Maybe a lot of their fans took us a tad lightly like a few of their players.

Dont know about the group stages. Think they've been to a quarter final in europe, and beat real madrid on the way, possibly around 1995. At least thats what i remember one of the locals telling me before the game. Crowd was really small though. Official site has the crowd as over 14000, but if thats the case their capacity must be about 30 odd thousand cos the place was only about half full.

My memorys not the best but i dont remember feeling like we were ever getting a bit of a doing, a la Nancy away, and somehow we were 2 down. Pretty sure big darren in goals didnt really have too many saves, and by all accounts we were denied a 'stonewall' pen that would have got us a 2 each. Not being greedy though, would have taken 2-1 before a ball was kicked, gives us a fair chance next week at our place, and that seemed to make most folk pretty happy at full time

Not sure if it was on the official site or somewhere else but we've added Blackman as the one we could put into the europe squad so no esteban in europe for now.......hopefully can grace the group stages
