  1. He needs to have a word with his gran though, surely it is the wean she should've knitted the cardigan for Apart from that, well done Keith!!
  2. I agree, that should be the main role of a midfielder and we know what Hughes can do on that front. If there was a massive goals difference (and Hughes 0.07 goals per game isn't exactly prolific, although it is better than both Jenno and Lasley) then could it be worth changing the shape of the team to accomodate Hughes if there was a chance of more goals?
  3. I would love to see Hughes back but if we only had funds to bring in one player (if any at all) then I reckon they would be better spent on bringing in a striker. But, if we had the opportunity to bring in a midfielder that could chip in with some goals then surely they should be considered an option? Hughes isn't a prolific goalscorer but does anyone know how his goalscoring compares to Jenno and Lasley's? If he has a better strike rate then surely he should be considered as we have got to be looking for goals throughout the team to help take some of the (undeserved) pressure off Higdon.....
  4. Some LOCAL proddies supporting their LOCAL team, whatever next?
  5. My weekends normally involve a Saturday and a Sunday, the 15th November is a Tuesday Sorry, couldn't resist
  6. Nothing will ever come close to Psycho ( ) cutting about Fir Park on a motorbike at half time
  7. One new home top purchased for the niece and it looks magic (yes, even with the sponsor)
  8. Looks to be Aberdeen away, so I'll take another goal from him to work it up wee Broon Just seen your Edit ^^
  9. Who do we play and is it at Fir Park? Do you think there will be anything to recognise the occasion when it comes, maybe just a guard of honour onto the pitch at the start of the match?? Will we ever see another 'Well player reach 400 games in the future??
  10. I wonder if their toon centre is full of pound shops?
  11. My ticket for POD has gone up to £370 for this season from £333 last season (£10 discount this year versus 10% discount last year). I think the £37 increase was way way too high (no doubt to help pay for the free kids tickets for the Wellevate scheme) and the price is too steep for the SPL but I choose to sit in the POD stand for the better view and if it costs me more then so be it, I can't grumble as I know that if I want a cheaper ticket I only have to change where I choose to sit. The real value of our tickets probably won't be known until May 2012 when we see how the season has panned out....
  12. July 2005? I'm sure that big streak of pish Crouch was up with them just before getting sold to Liverpool....?
  13. Absolute belter!! Get it made yersel in some wee Phillipino sweatshop and sell it doon the street. I would buy one even if it wasn't legit
  14. Fucking magic that Hutchy has signed up again, I reckon we'll get some serious cash for this boy one day (as long as we're careful not to do another Reynolds)....
  15. I was talking to Psycho on Cup Final eve (before he was proper melted) and he said that the '91 team would be at the final but without McCart. He said McCart hadn't been invited as it would have put him in a bit of a position given he is currently employed by the smellies . I'm guessing if this is correct then a wee phone call must have taken place with McCart..... And Tom Boyd is a banger....
  16. Just got my photie taken with the crazy bastard in the Electric (Psycho, not yer da)
  17. I had every intention of buying this but from the picture posted, although it looks good and is a job well done, I think it's just too similar looking to the retro shirt that I've already got. However, I will make my mind up when I'm in buying some of them new t-shirts, cos most of them (including the cup ones) are belters!! Magic value at £15 as well
  18. Is there a chance that if we give them the £25k they want, for what must've been a "gentleman's agreement" (as they didn't have a contract), that we could then fuck Aberdeen over for compo for relieving the old cant's from their "gentleman's agreement" of employment with us, surely we would stand a chance of getting more than £25k??? Auld pricks...
  19. I would take Jim Paterson back in a flash if he produced the same form as he did that season he played at left back, my player of the year that season. A wee bit of pace and Jimbo would've been a superstar
  20. So my season ticket looks to be £37 more expensive for next season - POD stand up to £380 with a £10 discount before end of May = £370. This season's ticket was £370 minus a 10% discount for renewing before end of May last year = £333. How the fuck can they justify an increase of £37 and does this mean that gate prices will be going up by £2 per game for the POD stand??
  21. No mention yet of the 10% discount for early renewal?
  22. £117million you say? Ya dancer, I'm gonna be loaded I wouldn't invest a lump sum in the club as they would possibly spend it over a couple of seasons then they would end up skint when it run out and would have to chuck players on the dole Nah, I would probably chuck it all into my bank and feed the club the annual interest that was earned every year to help make up for the shortfall in gate money as a result of all those 'fans' that no longer come along to the games
