  1. So many people on here talk about gettin behind the team, lack of support and so on. Week in week out folk are also on here moaning about different songs, or whats gone on that week. If ye dont like us trying to get behind the team and show our support then by all means do it yourself. Feel free to make up your own songs or chants or what not. But what good does it do the team when you sit there every week not getting behind the team and then moaning when you hear or see something you dont like.

The difference is, we see things we dont like and act upon it. We see too many people moanin and groanin about the factors that are turning people away from football. All were trying to do is liven the atmosphere up, Whats wrong with creating new songs, new chants, new ways to create the atmosphere and get behind the team. If half the people on this board put their energy into joining in with the songs and chants instead of coming on here week after week moaning, then we wouldnt have 4/5 threads about atmosphere or getting behind the team.

  2. Here's some more images of the horrific events that took place at Perth on Saturday... look away now if you are squeamish B-)

There might be one of the game as well, not sure how that got there :P

I'm surprised the game wasn't stopped. How randolph managed to see through that is beyond me. Thugs...the lot of them ;)

  3. Nobody has even said anything about being a better well fan or worse motherwell fan. It's easy to see were he is coming from. For too long people have came on here moaning abut shite crowds, shite atmosphere and not getting value for money and what not. If you aren't willing to do anything about it, I.e sing, create a bit of atmosphere and liven the 90 minutes up, then don't come on here and moan. Least with the songs, smoke bombs, fares etc its something different, something new. If its not for u then fine, but don't sit there and huff and puff and tut, then come home and give yersel finger cramp on here.

  4. Im in 2 minds how its going to go, i agree that its been a great run and has to end sometime, tomorrow being the biggest game of the season so far against a united side who are playing well.. but also, we are the fresher side and hopefully the hungrier.

However, i keep thinking, if gannon can get us a win up there, then craigy broon can surely do it.

  5. I was tempted to post something similar but didn't want to open a can of worms.

I agree. If he was alive, we wouldn't be posting a happy birthday message. Get a grip, folks.

    Bit contradictory ?

  6. A crowd of 4,448 is disappointing, especially given the run we are on and also that a game vs Hearts at Fir Park ten years or so ago would have had at least 7,000 with a much bigger away support. It's a sign of the times though.

Numberwise apart, I thought the Hearts support were dreadful today and never made a sound all game. They used to be one of the nosiest away supports at FP but today was the quietest I'd ever heard them and there wasn't even the usual sporadic chorus of 'Hullo Hullo' that we usually get from them.

Got to say i was disappointed with the attendance today, was expecting a lot better from our support and especially the hearts support. As you say they have been known to take a great travelling support and create a great atmosphere, that was lacking today. To be fair tho, i think that was all down to us, we didnt let the team settle at all during the game therefore frustrated the hearts fans and gave them nothing to cheer about, even their consolation goal done very little to lighten the mood in the south stand.

For motherwell though i thought we were fantastic, the hunger and desire that has been installed in this team is fantastic. We fight for every ball and chase everything now. Thats 1 big game out the way, now in a fortnight has to be the most important game of the season to date. Surely we can take a great support and get right behind the boys up there.

  7. he just doesent have the fitness or determination to gain fitness to ever reach his full potential.

I disagree, ive seen Bob in the gym and training with the team and he puts in a good shift everytime. I dont think its the case of his fitness i just dont think the pace of the spl is what hes best suited to anymore.
