Who da thunk it..... bloody brilliant. Didnt see that coming. Really fancied us to win tonight and was happy to see Lionel in the starting line up but didnt expect it to be so convincing and so god damn enjoyable..... Loved that game, the passion from the players, the hard work they put in. 90 mins gone and they where all still bursting a gut to get back and defend. They looked sharp still and could have played on so the fitness aspect is substantially better. For me though the MOTM is clear as day, Pearson. He was fantastic I thought. Worked so hard, stood strong and defended from midfield. Erwin showed what he brings to the team when the ball is played to his feet, he has skill in abundance and strength aswell. Not a target man however but he put a hell of a shift in, was really unfortunate not to score tonight I think, good blocks from the Accies defenders stopped him getting two at least. Dont think it was Skippys best game since returning but he still put the effort in. Oh and sexy Straker lol.... York fans did say he has one great game in every ten when he looks outstanding, tonight was it. I am actually gutted its two weeks till our next game.... Scotland can get to feck.

Happy enough with that..... Looks like it's attack focus for tonight. Even the bench.....

The best we have been playing this season has been the last three games without Sutton, yet people want him included straight back into the team. Sorry I dont feel the need to change the team at the moment, think the extra mobility Erwin is providing is certainly helping with our recent style of play. This game on Friday is tailor made to run their defence. If we go back to the long ball to Sutton against Accies I feel their centre halves will do what they have done all season and eat that up. No change for me with the forward two in fact no change for me to the team unless Hammy is fit to step back into left back.

During his loan spell Dans handling and distribution was excellant. Unfortunately after a full season with Marshall coaching his handling and distribution both have deteriorated. Obviously only my opinion but since Marsh stewardship all our keepers are prone to howlers he would have been proud off!!

The keepers seem to regress under the stewardship of Marshall.... I think a lot of blame may just lie right there.

Erwin's first touch is substantially better than Suttons. Suttons performance at Pittodrie earlier in the season ranks as one of the worst centre forward displays I have ever seen. Truly awful.
