  1. 6-8 weeks out for Slattery apparently - need to file that one under could be worse. Yeah just spoke to someone who said they've heard McGinn and Hendry will be out tomorrow but not long term
  2. I expect Just might not but TJ hasn't had as long a travel
  3. Ticket sold - hope you enjoy the game
  4. I bought a ticket from someone on here but I have covid - if anyone wants the ticket last minute I would be happy to shift it for a tenner. It's a ticket that would be emailed if anyone wanted it
  5. I don't care if we play the most honking football there is. I want us to qualify - we can worry about Clarke later
  6. Not really, nil nil - well done Scotland
  7. You're very welcome. I let friends know about the other one but they aren't going up next week. Hope you get it sold - maybe post on pie and bov too?
  8. I could take one off you if you would sell them one at a time. Sorry for your loss
  9. I personally think Maswanhise is pretty up and down a lot of the time but even if he scores a goal every few games it's worth it. I'll be happy to see what Hendry does when he's played a few more games. We very much miss someone like Spittal although Slattery does a good job in the middle
  10. Stama only played just over half a season last year due to injury as folk know - we can't criticise him for not scoring enough goals over the season when he wasn't playing for just over half of it. He was playing well until the wrist break from recollection
  11. I understand peoples point of view - but it's done. There's nothing to be gained from constantly criticising players in my view - it doesn't help them. Ward was brought in as back up anyway and if JBA thinks he needs dropped then I'm sure he will do it.
  12. I don't think he got as much as Ward is getting after a few games - Kelly's poor spell went on longer. Obviously it's different because we've just started the season. Like I went to two away games last season. One was a 4-1 loss and the other a 3-1 loss. I didn't see Aston get the grief Ward is currently getting if that makes sense
  13. I feel the same too and you know if players are sensible they won't look at the criticism on social media. I also get the fact that we pay money and have a right to criticise. I'm just not sure that it's productive that a couple of players are told over and over that they aren't good enough. Also because the only reason Ward was in goals to start with was because Ox was injured. He was asked to step up - Matty too. I think we will only know how things are going to pan out when Aston is back in goals. If he deserves the number one spot fine - but I don't think Ward is a terrible keeper
  14. I really do get that. But I think it's a bit ridiculous that Kellys poor run in goals lasted something like ten weeks (someone can correct me if I am wrong). And there were issues with Kelly and the defence when Hammell was in charge too Like for me if Ward goes in goals again and makes an arse of it - drop him. I just think the criticism he's getting just now is a tad disproportionate
  15. You've said that already. Why would it be last chance saloon? He's made mistakes but so does every goalkeeper. Do you not think we should back our players? There were folk slagging off Ox last season - folk have very short memories. And like I said earlier - Liam Kelly went a lot longer going through a very poor spell and he didn't get the grief Ward is currently getting
  16. Ward has made a couple of big errors but he's also made more than one decent save to keep us in matches - notably two at Tynecastle. I think it's pretty clear some people want Ox back and that's fair enough but Ward hasn't been all bad - just that when you make a big error - it's more noticeable Every keeper lets in goals. Kelly had a really dismal spell for us at one point - pretty prolonged if I recall and some people were saying Ox should go in goals then - I think we should give Ward a break tbh - and personally I trust JBA to make the right decision
  17. We are not all fur coat and no knickers. We are a team that have had three managers in the last year and who were struggling under Kettlewell for a few reasons. Players that were clearly struggling and lost confidence to boot. We were candidates for relegation at one point last season and we stayed up. The team still has to gel - that's clear. It's also clear that every player is playing for the manager and trying their best. Even Ward who has made mistakes that cost us. The negativity on here is staggering at times
  18. We aren't the only club in that position and Aberdeen are at the bottom of the table.
  19. Sorry to say this but I don't care about Wilson right now - he's a talent but he's not good enough just now and all the talk about cover for Manny is premature in my view as he's not injured Wilson has had his chance and he's lost confidence and not ready just now
  20. I believe so. We recalled Matty.
  21. They aren't great when you go and pick them up from Fir Park before the collection time to find out they've already been given to the SLO as happened to me the other week. This isn't a criticism of Motherwell. Its Hearts and Aberdeen that don't want to do a digital option for some reason
  22. Yeah I get that. But I either have to pay 2.50 to get them delivered or go to Fir Park to get them. I have disabilities and it's a struggle some days - I don't see why fans have to pay an extra 2.50 for postage just because some clubs can't give both options Btw. I get some older people might struggle but my mum is 76 and knows how to download a digital ticket - all I am saying is that there should be both options. It's off putting when clubs don't give fans the choice and they could do it easily in my view
