I also am as frustrated as anyone this year. But there have been comments on here this year about how spineless the team are and how they would never win against St Johnstone and then Dundee - and they did. If Motherwell are so rubbish all of the time then why have we got safety for the 41st season in a row I was also talking to a couple of people from the well society last week re Kettlewell. They had nothing but good things to say about him. They said that he was very involved with the community and he used to send players out to see fans who were unwell and who might never see another game again. They had nothing but good things to say about him. That he genuinely cared about the fan base and the wider community. They were genuinely sorry he was gone even if it might have been for the best in the long run. They spoke very highly of him and the way he conducted himself around the club. I get why people are sore at the way he left - but he's been rinsed all over social media when people who knew him were gutted that he left. It's just got really negative lately and right now there are people calling for Wimmer to be sacked elsewhere on social media. Because we aren't higher in the table. I personally can't understand that (I honestly can't be arsed right now. I've never seen it so negative and it's got nothing to do with Kettlewell, the fact that people are calling for Wimmers head less than three months in is a nonsense in my view)

None of us will get the answers to the questions some people are asking. The club won't tell fans players salaries - Motherwell made the decision to sign SOD and McGinn again. Wimmer is getting the blame for SOD but his extension was agreed before Wimmer came in. It's up to the club to make decisions - we aren't all going to agree with them. There are fans who think McGinn has been missed and others who think otherwise. We also don't know who is staying or going -I'll happily put my trust in Wimmer for now
-
We stayed up. We got higher in the league than a lot of people gave us credit for - that's a win in my book. I'll be happy to see the end of this season too - but I'm not sure what people are expecting. If we were as crap as some people think we are we would be bottom of the table. And just before anyone tries to rinse me over my point of view (not particularly you). I'm as unhappy as lots of people on here - I just don't get what's to be gained from constantly slagging the players off. We're safe - and hopefully there will be a decent rebuild next season

McGinn was contracted till 2025 with the option of another year.
-
Yes. There was an extension that was triggered
-
Slattery has done well on the whole since he came back from injury and his contract has already been extended. As has SOD and McGinns. Pretty sure there will be changes but it all comes down to the money the board make available to Wimmer.
-
Wimmer apparently has to go according to some folk on Facebook tonight
-
I think we played ok for the first 25 mins or so - then it all went to pot
-
One is injured I believe and the others are on loan
-
Optimism 🤣
-
O Donnell had a clause in his contract that would trigger an extension I believe. Obviously there's been reasons why Wimmer wants to retain McGinn. I'm personally not bothered - he's a decent player and he's been missed in my view.

That's not what I was told last season. It was either digital or getting your card updated - because if you have both you technically have two season tickets. The club said to me last season it was either a physical or a digital ticket. Not both
-
Nothing about his tweet made me think that he's signed on again - but hopefully I'm wrong and he has
-
I don't think anyone gets signed on a pay as you play. He's got a contract for another year and I assume he'll be getting a salary. I actually don't know where this pay as you play comes from tbh. It only seems to be discussed on Internet forums and I would be hugely surprised if it were a thing for our club. I personally don't think anyone should have to have these restrictions placed on them. You'll be paid if you play and not if you don't No one would want that for themselves - and we would be a shite club in my view if we signed players on those terms - particularly as there are players who play for us who hardly get any game time who get a salary. Why should McGinn be treated differently? Clearly Wimmer sees something in McGinn and he wants to keep him and if so he should be paid a wage like everyone else As for the clean up - also not going to happen - because we have a lot of players still under contract
-
They told me otherwise last year. Was one or the other. I assume it's because technically you could have two season tickets. One physical and one on your phone
-
Renewed
-
No reason why we can't get a result - however you never know with the Motherwell roller coaster. I'm just glad we go into this game safe from relegation
-
Just stay off the mfc facebook page... It helps.
-
I voted for you. (and one other). Good luck
-
I phoned last year - mainly because I had just broken my leg and couldn't physically get to Fir Park -(I'm a student and they need to see proof of that but they let me email it in) they renewed my card and it only took a few minutes. Hopefully they'll sort that issue out as it could end up causing a few problems
-
Yes you do. It just gets activated for the next season when you pay.
-
Good luck to him but don't see him coming back to Motherwell
-
He was offered terms to stay with us I'm sure and wanted the move down south
-
31 and 9 wins according to the table.
