I personally overthink in every aspect of my entire life. So I'm not going to overthink this. I don't think it's unreasonable to offer terms to players who have been with us a long time. I don't think it's unreasonable to offer Butcher terms either. I said several threads back that I thought he would be.. But theres been no official confirmation of this. Think it's the decent thing to do after the injury. Same with Slattery. The point is. We are a long way from August and I would expect to see a fair few changes between now and then.

I believe from previous posts Steelboy rates Mugabi. He's part of the same defence that other players are getting pelters for (even if it's deserved). We also surely have no control over what happens to Gent. That's up to the club he's contracted to. Surely it does come down to opinions? Some people rate Casey and Blaney and other people don't. I've seen people on twitter tonight saying they want Bevis signed back up ASAP.

Some of our support rate Bevis. I'm not one of them but on reflection I'm not that surprised he's been offered terms (which is the opposite of what I thought an hour ago) 😂 The issue is he's not really progressed that much since he's been with us.

I would hope not tbh. Caldwell said the other day a number of offers have been made to players who don't play for us.

Hopefully we'll have some new signings in the mix as well so that folk have competition for places.

I think it's the right thing to do to offer Slattery new terms. I also did think they would offer Butcher something. If they did. As regards Ox I suppose if you are offered decent terms you'll take them - whether you are back up or not. Potentially he's not had any better offers. Butcher is leaving anyway. Mugabi is the one I'm surprised at tbh.

Afraid so. The girl who assesed me at wishaw general actually remembered me from when I tore my calf. 🤣🤣 I've actually only broken one bone in my leg and it's a clean break but its awful. There's potentially ligament damage too but I won't know till they do another x ray next week. I waited less than an hour to be seen though. Can't fault the treatment I got on any level.
