  1. I'm sure the person running the club twitter account is more than aware about some fans views on Kettlewell given the slagging off he gets every time they post a tweet up. Particularly when the team selection goes up on match day. His after match interviews. Hes been getting slagged off all over twitter for months now - I'd be astonished if the club didn't know some fans views on him. I'm a member of the Well Society by the way and have been for years now. I do understand the importance of fans being kept in the loop.
  2. Personally I don't think it's the club's job to monitor forums to seek out discussion about Kettlewell. Some people like him and want him to stay and some people dont. Its personally no skin off my nose that this announcement wasn't made sooner. I actually miss the days where I just turned up to watch Motherwell and went home without all this noise going on (social media). I dont think it's up to fans to dictate who stays and who goes - this isn't directed at you btw. I just feel that there was a lot of clamour to get Alexander out, he went - and that we've been on a downward spiral ever since. It's also fine if people don't agree with me.
  3. I completely agree. Apparently the entire board and Kettlewell have to get to fuck according to some people on social media.
  4. Tbh I find his newsletters really depressing and I can't be bothered reading them anymore
  5. Graeme McGarry from the Herald has tweeted saying the statement looks as if Kettlewell didn't know his contract was being extended - it's just a poorly worded statement clearly
  6. The official statement from the club said that they apologised to the fans and Stuart for not communicating the terms of the extension last year....so it's possible he did know he was being kept on. It's pretty ambiguous and it doesn't explain much at all. Tbh it will come as no suprise to folk that I'm happy with this as I'm his number one fan. 😂. It's all just a bit odd. I dunno. It's just more of a shit show at a time we don't need it in my view
  7. It's nuts on there ... The we hate Kettlewell club. Most people on that page don't sound like they support the club at all .. but they probably do. Facebook is just weird full stop at times
  8. I personally don't care that much about the Kettlewell contract issue not being made aware to fans. It's more concerning that he didn't seem to know which is how it's being suggested on social media. By the way. That isn't me saying it doesn't matter that fans weren't kept in the loop. But apparently he wasn't aware. If that is true that is grim.
  9. I said the same thing a while back. He's a nice guy in my view and tbh I can't criticise him for that but there's been defeats where you can see he's been hurting but he's not slated the players .. and I commend him for that. I think he needs to start booting doors off hinges ... metaphorically of course but there's always a fine line. How to kick backsides without lowering morale. But they need to be kicked. I'd have smashed the dressing room to bits months ago .. that is why I'm not a football manager.. that and because I wouldn't have the first clue how to do his job (obvs).
  10. That's fine. I've just had enough. (I won't explain why. Would take way too long). A season out might do me good. Night all.
  11. I get that. But if that's the case I'll be done with putting money into the club. Not good enough on any level whether people do or don't like Stuart. The rot set in ages ago as far as I'm concerned and a new manager every 18 months or so isn't going to help that rot. I think Kettlewell deserves better than that too. But that's just my own opinion. I don't think anyone deserves to see out the next four months of a contract just to be quietly be let go. He's also got the right to want job security and if we don't want to give him it he has the right to look elsewhere.
  12. It's five in 26. I get the form. I have a season ticket. You said walk. You want him out right now yeah ? How do you think the players would react to that? If you think it would improve our season fair enough and it might come to that in the end. We can't afford to? We paid off Alexander and Hammell? Why not Kettlewell? Hes only got four months to go like you say. I personally think this will be the last year I put money into the club. On so many levels I cannot be bothered. Probably for the exact opposite reasons of other people who feel like chucking it.
  13. We should be looking for a new team to recruit in the summer? How do you think players will feel if he walks now? Hes not going to walk. They'll need to sack him.
  14. You asked me a question. I answered it.
  15. His recruitment team? Dont you mean the one he inherited from Alexander? Kettlewell didn't recruit Daws as far as I'm aware.
  16. I'm just amazed that SOD gets all the grief when Bevis form is so all over the place. The odd goal he scores doesn't make up for the defensive errors
  17. I think Butcher deserves to stay. Just my view. He's been solid in times where Bevis hasn't been. He's got a lot of good qualities as a player. A shame about that injury
  18. I actually completely agree with this. He should have been dropped ages ago but our squad was so thin it would have been harder to do. SOD gets all the pelters. Very rarely Bevis
  19. Disagree. Cannot see how Butcher has to go but Bevis stays. Bevis is a good guy but he's cost us too many times defensively.
  20. Sorry it's five in 26. Yeah the draws are killing us but I honestly can't be bothered right now. I'm really sorry for the folk paying every week particularly away games to see us lose but if we need to stutter our way over the line so be it. And if we go down we go down. I hope we won't but I'll support the team no matter. It's out of my control. All I can do is back the team
  21. It's five in 25 I believe and no not great reading but we've won five
