  1. Has anyone done this before? I'm am trying to purchase my usual seat but having a bit of a problem. I get through to the screen with all the seats, and when I click on my seat nothing happens! I get no notification that the seat has been selected. Then when I press continue it reports the following error: "please select seat". Is it just my browser, or is there something else I should be doing? Cheers
  2. I hear that these guys were being rested as they were coming in for a medical this morning at Fir Park!
  3. I'm maybe being a bit too pessimistic here too, but like weeyin, I think a comfortable season is ahead. I think we'll be well clear of the shite at the bottom, but don't know if we'll have what it takes to grind out results against the anti-football wee teams like St. Mirren, Killie and Rankgers. I think a good season will be if we get top six. Anything above that would be totally amazing. However, even a finish of 7th/8th with obvious signs of improvement in the team over the course of the season will do me. I think seeing how the young guys get on, plus having Gannon around to see how he adapts to the SPL, and of course his new signings - well, it makes it one hell of a season to look forward.
  4. Sutton's best game in a well shirt as far as I can remember, thought Coke was excellent - so composed. Forbes was very slack in the second half after a great first 45.
  5. I was very impressed with Jennings. Contrary to the above I thought his passing was good, I thought he read the game well and he looked very comfortable on the ball. He broke up the play so often. I think it's not a coincidence that we began to falter a little when he went off. I think he might end up one of these guys who divides opinion (like Neil Lennon at Celtic - tho he was shite ) But in comparison to Lasley for example I think on what I seen last night I'd have Jennings in every time, especially as he isn't at 100% yet. I can't remember which goal it was- but it was in teh first half. He won a tackle in the midfield and then played a really nice diagonal crossfield ball on the ground for the possibly Paul Slane to get onto, which ended up leading to the goal. I really like this idea of Gannon's - having the two guys sitting. As for Humphrey I thought "Kevin McBride". Hopefully I'm way off mark with this He could cross the ball right enough, tho to me he looked a bit lacking not just in fitness but confidence . I also want to see him working harder once he is fit.
  6. To drive is 35hours, without counting stops! If I wasn't away to Majorca on Sunday I'd seriously consider doing that just for the sheer madness of it.
  7. Totally agree with this mate. A lot of folk have this David Clarkson love in. I read people telling Bristol fans that he was skillful etc. I have to disagree. He has technique at times, but in general his touch isn't good enough. I think physically he is really going to struggle. I remember reading something by a guy who was at Reading when Tommy Burns was manager. He said that technically all the scots guys that were brought down were as good if not better than all the english guys. But none of them cut it - simply due to a lack of physique or ability to put themselves about properly. The guys round about me at Fir Park all agree that Clarkson's lack of upper body strength is what will stop him ever hacking it a higher level. I know some folk with say Clarkson can put himself about, but he ends up on the ground more often than getting in about the big defenders. I hope though, that he does well down south and I've got nothing but respect for the guy as a person. BTW the championship season is 8 games longer, so there are always going to be more goals conceded. I'm not disagreeing with the previous point about it being less tight than the premiership, but the numbers aren't always what they seem at a glance.
  8. What would be interesting to see is... how many people from Motherwell, Wishaw and Bellshill actually go to Old Firm games? Is it as many, or more than 4,000? I know the majority of folk "support" them, but how many actually get to a match?
  9. I agree, for all the guy done last season he deserves a chance. I'm not prepared to give him ages right enough. Two defeats in our next two games, might see opinions become even more negative. Although, I think he needs to screw the nut and cut out with the arrogant talk in the papers. I agree with the point of just getting the cash for players who don't want to commit. Look at Rossco last season after Christmas. Waste of space. It makes me laugh when I hear folk going on about how we miss him. It's been about a year since now that he last played well for us anwyay.
  10. I'm not going along today for the simple fact that I can find something better to spend £20 quid on at this time of year. Like many folk, I've become dissillusioned and don't travel to as many away games as in the past. Anyway, does anyone know if there is a free stream available for the game online?
