  1. Don't listen to this sassenach, Tamy, the english would steal the sugar out of your tea.

I will buy you a drink or 2 no problem, go to Jack Daniels.

    :D

Touche, mate. Tamy, he's as tight as two coats of paint and hangs his teabags on the washing line to dry. But as he's buying, I'll join yeez :P

We can also talk with our hands and feet and my English is hopefully not so bad.

Oh, I would fly to Scotland for a game. My father has done this before. At Morning fly to Scotland, watch the Game and back in the evening. Meanwhile, there are indeed very cheap flights.

Respect is due, Tamy. Just make sure one of the tight gits on this forum buys you a drink two by way of appreciation of your effort. The Scots tend to have short arms and long pockets, but you must insist :whistling:

  3. How can this be??

That cant Fraser was meant to be chucking a couple into our net was he no'?

Disappointed in this result - was looking forward to another 20 page fickle-fan-greet-in

Ah well, onwards and upwards I suppose

    :whistling:

Cheeky sod, SD. Actually, I don't think he had to touch the ball - didn't hear his name mentioned in commentary - but that clean sheet can only help his confidence. Terrific result.

It would be really cool if there all together at once, which otherwise hardly rare to have the opportunity to see Motherwell in Action in Fir Park. :D

I do not have to imitate before the Pope. Furthermore, it was just a joke. :)

    (Quote is not working) *hmpf*

Yes, we should try to co-ordinate the game we catch. My German is terrible but my Scottish is even worse :woop: . Each time I try to make it to Fir Park something goes wrong, but my luck has to change soon. Bavaria to Scotland is one hell of a journey for a football match :whistling:

  5. And good beer :woop: Not only in Munich. And yes it is a nice City. :)

This Year i hope to visit Motherwell. At Fir Park i fall on my knees and kiss the ground. *hihi*

Mimicking the Pope isn't a good idea in Scotland's central belt, even if he is German.

Perhaps I'll bump into you Tamy, following a couple of failed attempts this season. :whistling:

  6. Just over 13,000 at Tynecastle. Wish we got crowds like that.

It's a good crowd, considering their position. I suppose they sell a lot of season tickets and many in the stadium would have been hoping for much more last August.

  7. In these difficult economic times it would be good for all clubs to offer installment payments, particularly for those taking the family along. I know some SPL clubs, Hibs for example, do it. Actually, it would be nice down here too. I'm not looking forward to justifying to the wife the £750 that will be taken from our account in July. It gets harder each year.

  8. A point would be good at Tynecastle: anything that ends the losing streak. The team will need to scrap for everything; it's been highlighted how physical Hearts are, so it will be an even bigger test of character.

  9. Goalkeeper ( probably along with striker ) is the position where confidence comes into play most of all, and a keeper suffering a loss of confidence can find himself in a very lonely place. There's nowhere to hide out there when you drop a clanger. Fraser didn't look like a keeper with any confidence on Sunday, but I hope recovers it, because when Ruddy leaves won't he be first choice?

  10. Whilst I thought he was wrongly panned in the aftermath of the Sellick match... You cannot defend the indefensible.

No, he had a really poor game, I'm sure he knows that, but he didn't have luck on his side either. He had a sod's law of a match.

  11. I wouldn't blame him for the first goal. He slipped, it was nothing to do with goalkeeping ability and could happen to anyone. His poor kick which gave the corner for the second goal was perhaps down to the pitch, I'm not sure. His positioning for the third wasn't good good though, and he looked very nervous when coming for the ball in the air.

  12. We watched the game on espn and it was a sad sight, knowing a U.K wide audience would be watching open mouthed as the teams tried to play on no-man's land on the western front. The commentator was right when he joked the pitch was a throwback to the 60's and 70's. It isn't fair to the players or the fans, and to think all that money was spent on it just a year ago.

  13. In season 1995/96 Willie Faulkner was our top scorer ....................... with 5 league goals :wallbash:

Now there's a stat! How many leagues goals in total did Motherwell score that season?

And how about most hat-tricks for the club? Apologies if already covered.

Oh yeah, and the official answer to lowest attendance?

  14. Yes it is. We are playing for Europe and as high up the league as possible. Given the fact we exited the Scottish Cup at the first stage we need a good financial boost. There is a massive chunk of cash difference between finishing 3rd and finishing 6th.

I see what you're seeing, Finlay, but financial pressures don't translate to players on the pitch, IMO. Pressure is playing to stay up or to win the league. The 'Well players should be told to go out and express themselves, they have already done more than was expected of them.

  15. I like the Motherwell boys that make the atmosphere but the Sieg Heil chants are offensive and embarrassing. Why the hell do they engage in such a chant ?

What's this all about? Rangers or Millwall, yeah, but 'Well fans? :O
