Probably a bit harsh on Casa last night, but I still don't see any potential in him. I don't see where the 'moments of genius' stuff is coming from. I'd start him against Stranraer but if he doesn't cut it there then I'd much rather see a younger striker allowed in the team. As I said to a mate last night, I'll happily eat my words when he scores 30 goals betweeen now and the end of the season, but I highly doubt it. Infact, if he is still here at the start of next season, I'll get his name tattooed on my arse.

Casagolda lasting 70 minutes made me question 3 things. 1) Stuart McCalls integrity. 2) Motherwell Football Clubs integrity. 3) Scottish football in general. He didn't seem to know the basics of football at all. Struggling to find any positives on he guy at all.

Played well, and once one of our strikers finally scores we'll be back up and running again. Gripes of the day were: Casagolda. He looked like a 7's player. Absolutely woeful, came into it a bit more in the second half but with Murphy having to do the work of two strikers (and quite clearly struggling to) we were effectively down to 9 men for the first 70 minutes. Sutton came on and won a few headers and the whole team seemed to lift in confidence after that. Randolph was at fault for the goal but can't really expect him to go a full season without making a mistake. Final gripe, and its a problem we've had for a while. No one seems to want to hit the ball when it falls to them. Jennings was the main culprit, was always looking to pass the ball before he was looking to shoot, but Jones and Gunnings shots at the end give me confidence that they might change this for us. Despite this, there absolutely loads of positives to take from tonight. Steve Jones was outstanding, and brought back the 'Jim O'Brien factor' we have been missing this season. The more Jennings and Lasley play together, the more the prove they are an absolutely outstanding midfield pairing. Humphrey on the right had a good game aswell, and look far more threatening than he did on Sunday. So with such a dangerous midfield, and with Hammell in top form, it won't be long before we finally get a goal and push for a top six finish again. Onwards and upwards. Also, have to give a special mention to the Killie fans. More than I expected to be there, and never stopped singing all game despite being on the back foot 80% of the time.

Humphrey could be a great player for us if he had some positional awareness. He should have been hugging the by-line instead of essentially tying himself to Papac. Still, thats my only slight gripe of the day. Great day out with my family, seeing Motherwell play in our 4th semi final in my lifetime, seeing my favourite player score at Hampden and finally caught the football bug again. Can't wait till wednesday now. I'm proud to be a 'Well fan.

I mind you were on the bus to Inverness and when we sang 'your in the wrong fucking country' a couple of us pointed to you. Took it in good spirits though. Good guy.

I was told that Jennings hadn't shat for 3 days and went to the doctor and he told him that if he didn't shite by Friday he wasn't getting his game cause he wouldn't last 30 minutes. Maybe he lied and said he had shat when he hadn't.

I'm the same as Andy, during the Gannon era I was starting to lose my enthusiasm for the football. I even went as far as abusing Gannon at a game, which is a first for me. It was becoming a chore to go to the games as I didn't feel any connection towards the players on the pitch at all, and that was the first time I had felt that way since getting my season ticket in 2004. But supporting Motherwell is like that, there are highs and lows, peaks and troughs etc and for every Gannon, I know there will be another McGhee/Butcher round the corner. I suffer the lows,such as the 4-1 defeat to Inverness under Malpas because I know there will be another Skippy Sunday to savour soon enough. So whether its Fizzy at Easter Road, or a 3-0 defeat to St Johnstone on a cold winters day, I'll always come back. Craigy Brown restored my faith in football, but more importantly, he restored my faith in Motherwell and for that I am forever grateful.

Couldn't get to the game tonight as I was working but got out an hour early so I stood at the gap between the main and the cooper. All i could see was 'keep cig' and some of the pitch but it was my first 15 minutes of the season and I loved it. Nearly shed a wee tear when, even after being put out of Europe in what seemed like a fiery game, we were still singing at 90 minutes. I have missed the football too much this season. Getting to my first game of the season on Sunday, can't fucking wait to be back.
