  1. I've just dangles bait for Attila's all day. It has been fun and has got me a bit more up for the Cup.
  2. Scrap that, he played a couple of games for Swansea at the start of the season.
  3. Shefki Kuqi released by Swansea. 34 now, but still a beast. Would be a decent signing for 6 months.
  4. Maybe it's bacause it's hypothetical and has no chance of ever being constructed. *The reason Mallorca have been quoted €15m is because San Moix is pre existing stadium with no real concession for a roof on that stand. It is also a shit hole built on the cheap.*
  5. I'm pretty sure it would be able to be built. It's hardly a monumental feat of engineering & architecture to incorporate a roof design to the original stadium plans.
  6. Just over 3000 sold. Last night my hopes of a shock were getting their jammies on and the first 20 mins on Sunday will put them to bed.
  7. The ball ended up in casualty last night. Two terrible teams. A terrible match, no ability on the park, no creativity, nothing. Rangers will absolutely pump us on Sunday if we don't play at least a million times better, unfortunately I can't see it. The last two away games, Utd and last night, are two of the worst displays of "football" I can remember for a long long time(including the Malpas era). We have nothing at present, I just have to be thankful to Brown and Knox because I think they have kept us in the league. Jones played well in the last 30 mins, very promising signs. It will be all for nothing if our players don't start moving and wanting the ball. The lack of movement all over the park is frightening. Jones got to the touch line several times last night, only to look up and everybody is static, no fucking excuse for it. No-one seems to want the ball, no one making a yard for themselves, no one trying to split the defence, just seems to be a lot of back to goal play that won't result in anything other than giving it back to them when we eventually launch it up the park.(Kenny fucking Black influence right there). Big changes required. Definitely a loosening of the purse strings is essential. A few new midfielders and some strikers need to be brought onboard fast. The pressure is start to increase just a wee bit on McCall. A lot of unimpressed Motherwell fans at present, some serious skepticism surrounding his abilities tbh. Btw, our pitch is in much worse nick than the one at McDairmid Park.
  8. Is that Welsh dickface presenter not Steve Jones?
  9. Would be a cracking signing if we pulled it off. Very highly rated down South.
  10. Government health warning!! Invest in Runners Because Motherwell(SS) can seriously damage your health. We may have to clear the Club of major Sponsors, major Investors, successful businessmen, hundreds of ST holders and guys who go to every game including every European game we've ever played to get rid of these guys who've involved themselves in this casual culture... Saying they are just "wee young neds" is very naive to say the least. I don't want the facts to get in the way of the porridge dribblers having a rant though.
  11. Pay peanuts, you get monkeys. We have done it and ended up with the extras from Jumanji, The Jungle Book and Congo. None of which know how a pitch should be looked after. There are experts of the trade in the stands wincing everytime these butchers are allowed near our pitch. If our team get a good pitch we'll scud teams, unfortunately we'll spend half a season playing on Troon beach each year. Fibre sand is old hat, the vast majrity of the league have used it for at least 6 seasons. Thankfully, they have staff that know their stuff....
  12. Only true fans will be there... A quick round trip, take a few pictures to send to Cyprus, a Well win and it is an easy night.
  13. They obviously forgot to mention the 2 times that Motherwell shoud have been given advantage. Humphrey has a free run at their shit full back after the Hateley foul. Murphy is clean through for what was more than likely going to be 3. The ref pulls both back.
  14. Thanks to pitch, Hibs missed a penalty so it's not all bad.
  15. I'm certain McBride got booked twice. Good performance, though we shut up just a bit too early. Though we could've improved our GD against a very poor Hibs team. Another clean sheet, 3 points in the bag, better performances from Humphrey, Jennings & Craigan. Well done to Saunders and Hutch, Jones did well today, but probably just ran out of steam. On the pitch, I see the tractor pulling circuit has returned in full at Fir Park. Any chance of some greyhound, horse & maybe even some chariot racing on it aswell?
  16. Both are fuckin' shite footballers
  17. They're on discussing these points obviously with fellw fans who feel the same. See if you're not embarrassed by this, not embarrassed by shit groundstaff that can't do their job, a board tighter than a duck's arse, not embarrassed by guys that can't pass to each other and don't know what a first touch is, not embarrassed by a Stadium that will be shut down in the next few years, not embarrassed by crowds fucking off in their droves. Then Motherwell can rely on you and your dug watching games in SPL 2 in 5 years time, because very few will allow the shit excuses and general shiteness to wash in the near future.
  18. It's not the same thing. Celtic enquired and found out he couldn't play. We on the other hand, had Grella at training, paraded him to the press before finding out we had made an arse of it.
  19. The thing is, Grella isn't angling for a move. Simon Grayson wants him to get game time with a view to rejoining the Leeds squad next season. The gaffer does like him, so isn't looking to punt him, just looking to get some experience. Bearing in mind, Gella is only in his second full season as a pro player and it's a huge jump from College & Development leagues in the US.
  20. Thoughts go to the family. RIP Wellworn
  21. Certainly(League wise) he was out wide, bearing in mind he was trying to shift Beckford and Becchio who were scoring for fun, so he was competing more with the wide players for a place. Last season he did well when he got his chance. He can play through the middle and either side of a target man. It's not as physical in the SPL compared to the Football League, so he could well thrive.
  22. Grella is a good player, if a bit lightweight. With Somma getting amongst the goals and Watt, Sam, McCormack, Snodgrass, Gradel all ahead of him in what I would say is his best position. Paynter an ideal man to bring on if we are to chuck it into the box if we need a goal late on, so again even futher down the pecking order. If played in the right position, he'll do a cracking job up here IMO. He seems to be well thought of at Elland Rd, given the unwillingness to sell him. Grayson definitely wants him getting as much 1st team games as possible hence his loans this Season.
