  1. Never ever impressed me at Caley and seems like a bombscare. The Polish boy has a bit of height and can maybe come for crosses(even if its a punch). Fraser seemed to be chained to his line. We have to view this as a opportunity to give everyone a fair crack at the whip.
  2. Kosiorowski Saunders Hutchinson Craigan Reynolds O'Brien Fitzpatrick Slane Smith McHugh Murphy Subs: Fraser Hammell Sutton Murphy Lasley Page McGarry Go for it with 4-3-3. Use pace, keep the ball on the deck and get a few early goals.
  3. I don't get this about the standard of English football shite. If we are signing players then it'll be from lower League 1 and League 2 and the standard is dross. Ability is very much at a premium, with athleticism, pace and power favoured ahead of proper footballing ability. Result: teams that hump the ball for 90 mins and have very few players who can get the ball down and play. Last season, Peterborough, Leicester, Leeds and MK Dons were really the only teams who wanted to play on the deck, but they pay more in wages than a lot of Championship teams so can attract the best players in the league.
  4. I've said it before, Quinn will be the biggest loss. We're losing our captain, the only guy who doesn't take defeat lying down and can play a bit to boot. Would last night have happened as it did, going down with a whimper? No would it fuck.

Have to say, it looks like a cheap fake. Got the Deportivo top and the quality just isn't the same, not by a long shot
  6. After having the night to mull over the game last night, it is just completely unacceptable with no positives to come from it. It like San Marino beating Scotland at Hampden, Andorra beating England at Wembley etc... In all seriousness, local amatuer teams like Finnart, Dalziel and Swinton would murder Llanelli, with Llanelli's players really struggling to get anywhere near these teams starting 11, that was a pub team and I've sen better pub teams than that. The Welsh league is dire with beer guts, hatchet men and limited ability the order of the day. Last night has no positives whatsoever because it is simply the worst result in our history and maybe the history of Scottish football. Motherwell have to take a really good look at themselves, if they can't even get a draw against Llanelli at "home" then we WILL go down unless urgent and extensive surgery is carried out at the Club
  7. The most embarrassing result in the Clubs history. Llanelli play at no level at all, my bro plays for Finnart and I would be confident that they would take 6 off the Reds. The huge centre-mid, all 19odd stone of him strolled through that game, as did several more of their overweight stars, which is unacceptable from a "professional" club. Gannon must sit that squad down tomorrow and tell them in no uncertain terms that unless they win and win convincingly in Wales then they are for the chop. The absence of Quinn, Hughes and Clarky was frightening, no leaders, no creative spark, no class or guile, absolutley nothing, a team bereft of everything we need. Paul Slane however, take a bow son, one of the only players with pass marks. Young Saunders needs to improve his crossing, other than that he was our best defender. Will Llanelli swap their No.9 for John Sutton please? I don't think I can take another season of watching this big carthorse make Kaheld Kemas look mobile, as for winning headers, you could fit a fagpaper between him and the grass when he jumps.
  8. Its the Owls who are interested who are interested in addition to a few other Championship clubs
  9. 3300, Well heres hoping that we go some way to taking up the allocation to do the Welsh lads a turn. Only fair to do so after them moving the game on our account.
  10. There is a difference though. I am Motherwell through and through, but if I had been at Well for 6/7 years, given it everything in that time and a team in England/Europe came in for me offering me more money and more exposure then regardless of my leanings, I couldn't move to my new club quick enough.
  11. If tickets go to the highest bidder then so be it. If I need to go down and give a local £40/£50 for a ticket then thats what I'll have to do.
  12. Early morning flight from Edi to Cardiff £25. Picked up by my Uncle at the airport. A quick SSS then onto the Ashes first test with a free bar all day. Night oot in Cardiff on Wednesday. Thursday meeting my mate in Cardiff for a few beers then onto Llanelli for the game. Back to Cardiff to get sparkled with hotel in Cardiff sorted for 2 nights. Get in
  13. BMI Baby Edi to Cardiff(if there is still any left0 is your best bet, that route has the best flight times. Train as I said is brutal, every stop from Cardiff to Milford Haven with Llanelli in the middle. You'll need to sort out travel from the airport as its on the road by Barry . Train from Glasgow takes way too long. An idea would be booking a bus at Cardiff Airport to travel to Llanelli if you could get enough numbers.
  14. Its pure shite mate. 3% or so and is pisswater. Its a beer btw nothing like Guinness. Brains lager is quite possibly the worst lager known to man. Be prepared for lots of Stella, Fosters and Carlsberg.
  15. Unless your going to Cardiff, the train to wales is a nightmare, especially the one to Llanelli, stops at every stop on the way to Pembroke. Best bet is a flight to Cardiff and hire a bus

Saw a guy wearing one at the bottom of Lanark mainstreet last night and then again walking down towards KFB. Belter!!
  17. Was saying to a mate down in Cardiff today that ESPN is probably the broadcaster you want. Ideally they view SPL as the way to get a foothold in the British Football Broadcasting Market and view us as the stepping stone to a Premiership package much like Setanta did. There is certainly very little chance of ESPN suffering financial hardship in the future with their huge market in the Americas.
  18. Aye, but the thing is, we actually know he is off. There are numerous teams chasing his signature and have been for months. All of these teams can blow us out the water in term of wages and size of club. So at the end of the day he goes to highest bidder which is good for us and for him
  19. Part of the Coppells team at Reading which was a relatively successful time for Reading, preivous to that he was with Pardew, but he's never been the main man. Unless he had a ton of contacts don't think Motherwell would be the job for him to go it alone. That said a UEFA Pro Licence is nothing to be sniffed at.
