Nobody was outstanding today. Clay was excellent 1st half but was anonymous for large spells of the 2nd half. Over the full 90 mins, both McManus and Heneghan played well so I've given it to Big Ben. His block towards the end was superb.
The line that we don't need to sell in January is not reality. We've got debts to pay by 2.5 years time so the quicker we clear those debts the better. If we get a below average offer, we'll take it as we can't take the risk of our assets getting a serious injury.
Quickly turning into Martyn Corrigan Mk2, but under normal circumstances he's nowhere near international level. In saying that, Stevie Saunders got a cap and Joe Chalmers got an U21 cap so you never know.
For what its worth, I thought the only positive from last night was how comfortable MacMillan looked with both feet. He swung in some decent enough crosses with both his left and right foot.
I couldn't really care less where he goes but if we get £500k, I'd be delighted. A lot of potential but rarely produces in the top flight or in big games.
These sorts of matches, where McGhee thinks he's a smart arse by changing the tactics which inevitably backfire, are exactly why he doesn't endear himself to the support or hasnt had a better management career.
I thought Lionel was poor on Saturday with the exception of his goal which was class. Joe has been OK in his past two games as he has been anonymous. Not surprised McGhee has went slightly more defensive as that seems to be his preference in games of this magnitude.
Tait for me as well although there were many decent performances. I thought Lionel was poor again apart from a couple of good deliveries from set pieces. Someone should remind him he is allowed to run with the ball. He gave Wallace all sorts of problems the last time he played against him and not once did he try to take him on yesterday.
