Laing's oot

I think talk of top 6 is still a bit far fetched. top ten will do me!
-
As my mate Marty pointed out to me. Hadn't won at parkhead since McGhee... Hadn't won at NDP since McGhee..... what a guy!
-
. I enjoyed that. The least entertaining team I have ever seen was the Spanish team that won the WC. Technically magnificent. However they won every game 1-0 and passed teams into a coma.
-
I was "trapped" outside the closed gate. I never saw any real fighting. think one guy got punched once or twice.
-
McDonald was great, should have gave it to him, but I am in love with Louis Moult.
-
I will try.
-
Possibly, but if Johnson is our main creative force he needs to be trying to find space and making moves looking for the ball. I just don't see him doing that at all.
-
what these guys said. ETA. I never watched the highlights or saw the chat about Laing. so If he moved out the way..... In regards to Johnson, I don't think he knows what to do when he doesn't have the ball.

I was once in Distrikt in Glasgow and Robbie Neilson was there with Scott Allan and a few other championship guys. I was Glad Robbie was there, I was feeling old. It was a sunday. Make of that what you will fitba polis

Can anyone confirm how much they had to drink??
-
On McGhee's fault fae Saturday, Why the fuck was Ainsworth stuck up front?
-
I do agree but having been paying much attention to the manager. He would enjoy it too much.
-
On a side note, What does everyone think of these side by side protests across scotland regarding "the bill" stuff?
-
McGhee is not doing a good job of convincing me either, But the players are baws.
-
The pitch was awful yesterday, That was obvious and I feel contributed to the shite® standard of play from both teams. Utter dross again, Last minute goal again. I don't remember either midfield being involved at all. I want to point out a few things. Ripley - Utter shite for that first goal. A bus could have got in that front post. (Missed the second cos when they got the free kick I said "I don't want to witness this" and went for a piss before the journey home.) McManus - Maybe I expect to much of someone with his experience and International caps. Loves a long aimless ball humped 80 yards up the park. Laing - seemed "solid" enough at times. seems to have learned his trade from McManus as he loves to hoof the ball up the park. Gave the ball away about 80% of the time he had it. Johnson - Useless unless given the ball to his feet with 20 yards of space. Others have been pointed out already but I felt the need to recognise these players.
-
I don't think McDonald can play up front alone, That's where my frustrations were coming in with him.
-
Still gutted we missed out on Hoe-Been-ho

This thread has been pretty positive, I like that. I have known 'Flow for years. Good guy. I need a sound clip. My message tone of "Oh Stegosaurus" is a bit dated now!

I agree other than Pearson signing, CM had been awful when it comes to bringing folk in recently
-
I think that is more to do with his remarkable good looks rather than his football ability. I see folk who pick holes in his distribution, quite rightly so at times. I see folk who think he is half a second slower than he used to be, quite rightly so and then there is folk who have a go at him blowing out his arse after 75 mins, once again quite rightly so at times. I think he is still a very important part or team. He hustles very well and often holds the midfield together. He wins the ball and makes a nuisance of himself. Good player in our team.
-
You have his age wrong. The "superman" image may be something you have imagined. I just think despite his flaws, he is one of the most consistent of our players and we miss him when he doesn't play.
-
Keith Lasley get some amount of undeserved mentions of his age. He is still one of best players over the season. We miss him awfully when he doesn't play.
-
I must be the only person who had no problem with McGhee calling out Ainsworth, Which he never actually did. Was he supposed to ignore that someone lost their man?
-
As I said, I don't think he has played well in any more than 5/6 matches, there has defo been games where he was awful but scored a goal or laid one off. Maybe I am expecting too much but I thought he'd be a lot better than he has been.
