Its been discussed time and time again, McCarthy is Scottish yet chooses to play for Ireland. The key word being "choose". No one should be able to choose to play international football it should be an honour. I dont know about the other guy, but i have no feelings of hatred or jealousy towards James McCarthy i'm just disappointed that yet another young talented footballer has chosen Ireland over his home country. I'm not setting any "moral benchmark" for anything at all and i dont for one minute claim to hate James McCarthy, i'm sure hes a nice enough guy. I'll be giving him dogs. Why should we ignore him or hold back? He plays for one of our biggest rivals and theres a possibility it will affect his game. If i met McCarthy in the street or away from football i wouldnt have a problem with him but as soon as he crosses the line onto the Fir Park turf he's a wee bawbag and i'll do anything that can help Motherwell gain a victory.

I was wrong completely about Sheridan. He's a cracking wee player, you can see it in just about everything he did today that hes just got that wee bit of extra class that we'v been missing. The cross he put in for Hughes today was absolutely sublime and he deserved a$ much much better finish. I reckon he'l score 7 between now and the end of the season.
