  1. I've done hell of a lot of digging to find this funding request and the reasons on which it was refused

I've read all the minutes for the past 2 years or so and can find no record of the request or the grounds on which it was rejected, so I went more direct and I have to say If what I have unearthed is true then it is an outrage that despite the amounts involved this has been hidden from the members and the public.

I'd like the trust to reply to this as to be quite frank your pathetic reasoning that the trust wouldn't be recognised for the contribution is beyond comprehension, the trust would have received more positive publicity amongst the Motherwell support and the public at large than your amateur efforts could ever have dreamed off.

To tell you the truth I feel physically sick about this. I've praised you personally and all the others who have put in a massive amount of effort for the Phil O'Donnell memorial fund work that will not be forgotten by those that know and care but someone somewhere has made a huge error of judgement regarding distribution of the MST funds. Funds that have been generated by fans for the good of the trust and the club.

I'm confused now, what have you unearthed thats made you feel physically sick? What have they been upto?

  2. There is though. Their choices were:-

McLean - Northern Ireland or nothing

    O'Brien - ROI or nothing

    Commons - Scotland or nothing

    McGeady - Scotland or ROI

McGeady was the only one with a real choice to make.

Why does that matter? International football should be an honour and you should play for your country of birth, if you arent good enough for them then you dont just go and play for someone else. I dont respect any one of those players above regarding the decision they made.

  3. Any idea what club Vadocz is at now mate? last thing i heard he was at a spanish club (i think)

Dominating the midfield for Osasuna at the moment and although he isnt playing every single week he is very highly thought of. He is also back in the international fold.

Edit: Osasuna had some enquiries about him this window and their asking price is 7.5M!

  4. I've never been impressed with Malcolm, other than his free-kick abilities, and I posted after the St. Mirren game that there was no contest between Klimpl and Malcolm.

The one thing that impressed me at Love Street was how comfortable he was with both feet. At Tannadice he had a good, well controlled shot with one foot just before scoring with the other foot.

The one thing that does my head in watching football is seeing professional players being completely one-footed - our team is rife with them. Stephen Hughes gets great plaudits for his skills but goes to ridiculous lengths to avoid kicking the ball with his left foot. Jamie Murphy looks a great new talent but is very one footed and there are less skillful players in the team who have a much weaker side. How many times have we seen a player trying to wrap a leg round his body to take the ball with his better foot. It makes me wonder what players do in training, particularly the younger ones.

How refreshing it is to see Klimpl looking genuinely comfortable with both feet.

I'd agree with pretty much everything you say apart from the bit in bold, now i respect peoples opinions but quite frankly your wrong on that one - Jamie Murphy is excellent with both feet.

  5. Does anyone have any idea if the game doesent go ahead on monday when it will be next rescheduled to? I put in for a holiday tomorrow which i can cancel and then for tuesday wednesday and thursday next week. Now that it transpires its been scheduled for Monday its too late for a holiday so i'd be looking for a shift swap although i dont want to swap my monday shift to the wednesday for the game then to be moved to the wednesday if ye know what i mean? Anyone that knows an answer to this asap is a ledge in my eyes because i'm about to leave for work and dont know what to do.

    Ta.

  6. That attitude sickens me though, it really does. I moved away from my family and friends when I had just turned 18 becuase I knew it would benefit my career long term. In my opinion, and I dont know if you or Haggis would agree Weeyin, moving abroad makes you look at life a little differently and I honestly believe it can make you a more rounded individual, which particularly for guys playing with the Old Firm, is something that they could be doing with!

I'm outta here for a year as soon as i finish uni. If i find somewhere i like enough to stay in then i'll be upping sticks.

  7. Even if big Ports leaves, he'l have nothing but good will from me. He gives 100% every week and you never hear him running his mouth off in the press. An absolute model professional and has been one of the best strikers ive ever seen at Fir Park.
