  1. I'd agree with that Haggis, but unless he sorts it out on the park it doesn't mean anything. I definitely feel for him, I feel like he has the right idea in changing the set up and implementing a more forward thinking philosophy at the club but my worry is that when it comes to the crunch he doesn't have the tactical ability to translate all of the good work behind the scenes in to performances. I hope i'm wrong because he's likable but i'd still punt him if we look inept on Saturday.

  2. Let's take a fucking breath here for a second....

    - Players pished at the weekends and feeding themselves on fry ups and chips came from someone claiming to have seen this on instagram. Personally never seen that at all and I follow a bunch of them on there. When challenged the poster never came back with names. Happy to proven wrong if they come back with actual proof

-Getting mates to phone up radio shows...could equally be players confiding in their mates at how pish there job is and talking about ways it could have been made better in their opinion. Something we all do? Wilson might have then went on and bumped his gums and is now getting a toe in the baws for it.Equally could be a calculated ploy from the squad to get the media to drive the manager out...

    - Players going to prison...no evidence yet again to back it up.

Let's not fall into the trap of believing everything that is read on here because most of it is utter fucking bilge.

That said both players and manager have been utter garbage this year. This Daily Mail style gossip is just murder though.

One recent example of many if you want to have more of a look. It also isn't difficult to find pictures - and even videos - of players absolutely out their dial in town most Saturday nights. The jail story will likely to be picked up by the media soon too. None of what has been posted is "Daily Mail style gossip" or "utter fucking bilge". Its true.

  3. Absolutely no chance we're getting anything out of this. Inverness are absolutely streets ahead of us this season.

Really hope Pearson, Hammell and even Vigurs are back.

If Barraclough has any sense Straker and McManus won't be playing and we might actually see other players playing in their proper postions with a slight semblance of shape and tactics. Bet we don't though.

The baw is truly on the slates for us.

Anything between 2 and 4-0 to Inverness.

We won't see him in a Motherwell shirt again IMO.

  4. Possibly not but when we're as bad as we are at the minute coupled with how unfit we look most weekends you'd like to think the players would be doing what they can to improve themselves - not be out getting mwi constantly and eating big bowls of chips.

  5. It's the players that should be taking the blame. They strolled out the traps at the start of the season thinking they were still best of the rest, and haven't put in a 90 minute shift since.

If you were watching 90 minutes every week you'd know that this is only a partial cause. There's so much more to it than that.

  6. And another point, Baraclough has made comments which imply he thinks some of the players aren't in the physical condition they should be. If that's the case then they should be banned from going out every Saturday night and getting beyond blazing and posting pictures on Instagram of big plates of double fried chips they seem to be eating.

  7. I cant believe some are questioning the signings 3 weeks after transfer day, or 2 or 3 games. The only signing that anyone can question is O'brien as we all know what he can produce by now. As for the lad at york we beat BPA to his signature and he took a pay cut I believe. Give the lad a run of games before passing judgement. He has come into a team low of confidence and deserves better support.

I pray to god that you aren't actually the Leanne that's been recently appointed at board level or we are in even worse a situation than I could ever imagine possible. I don't care if he took a pay cut - or even if hes playing for free - he wouldn't get in our 5's team.

Speaking solely about the new signings, I actually agree with this (apart from the BPA chat - it's hardly worth shouting about when they have an average attendance of three hundred odd). Any new player deserves more time and for most of them to be written off so quickly is just plain daft. Straker was poor yesterday but he didn't deserve the pelters he was getting. Folk do need to remember that these guys aren't responsible in any way for our current position.

I actually felt sorry for him yesterday because it was cringeworthy how bad he was. Thats 3 full matches now where he's looked wildly out of his depth and it's sickening that he's playing infront of Watt. While some of the abuse was probably a bit OTT during the game, i'd imagine it was largely due to the frustration being shown at A) Baraclough signing him in the first place and B) the fact that he started again this week after his display last week and somehow managed to last the full 90 minutes.

I don't care who the manager is - it's the players that are underperforming and, as professionals, many of them should be hanging their heads in shame.

You shouldn't need a manager to tell you not to pass the ball to opponents, to mark you man and tackle to the guy with the ball.

Nonsense. The players have been shite all year and deserve stick but Baraclough is making things a million times more difficult than they need to be. He talked all week about needing to get back to basics and make the midfield offer a bit more defensively and what does he do? Sticks players out of position left right and centre in a system it's abundantly clear they can't play in. Craig Moore in midfield? C'mon to fuck. I've never ever in my time supporting Motherwell been a negative supporter but this is far worse than the Malpas season. We need rid and fast.

  8. The players were bad but I still think the manager was culpable for yesterdays performance. When you have a team lacking in confidence (and ability) you keep it simple and put players in their natural positions. What you don't do is sign 800 wingers and then play a striker out wide, bring a striker back from long term injury and have him in the midfield and play the only guy we have the looks capable carrying the ball forward from the middle of the park (Grant) in a deep holding role with nothing in front of him. Our weekly 7 a sides game has more shape to it than that team we had out yesterday and I find it quite difficult to blame the players when they're being asked to carry out jobs they blatantly aren't suited for. Oh, and Sutton up front on his own. Good one.

  9. Get him to fuck now. I know its early days with regards the new signings but the vast majority of them look honking. Even if by some miracle he does manage to keep us up this season, does anyone trust him to sign what will in effect be pretty much a whole new squad for next season?

I don't blame the board for his appointment, he talked a good game but I will most definitely blame them if we keep sleep walking in to the abyss. Time to act.
