I seem to recall a few years ago Hibs got quite far in the intertoto and then came flying out the traps in the league, leading for a good few weeks. The problem then came later on as the players burnt out towards the end. I think having games pre season with something to play for is much better than the usual shite we are treated to and can only benefit the team, if only in the short term.

Probably about right but they needed to beat the teams around them, goals came against Falkirk, ICT and St Mirren so could have saved Killie from going bust. Not that that's anything to be proud of Moan the Well, how could we not have played like this when there was something on the line? Probably gonna end up with more points than Hibs now so league table will look ridiculous.

If Falkirk beat ICT next week they go down on 37 points, everyone else on 38

Some folk are just going a bit too far here. I'm just as angry as everyone else at the pishy performance today but at the end of the day we are a team who are probably just above relegation material but not quite top 6 certaintys so we ended up on the wrong side of the split this season it even's itself out over the course. It's not the end of the world If mcghee does resign who do you propose we get in? Leitch? Get Malpas back? Yogi from Falkirk? What a performance from the lads! Clarksons goal was a peach, glad to see him back on the scoresheet. Also for that goal the chasing down from Porter to win the ball back was top class, brilliant effort from the big man. I said it last year and it has been shown again yesterday. Our full strength first 11 is as good as, maybe even better, than any other team outside the old firm so it's no coincedence we are hitting form with Craigan and Clarky back and Hughes and Porter looking more like themselves! Onwards and upwards for the well now superb.

Ross McCormack could take note from the big fella. Been linked with all sorts of clubs, and I've no doubt he has ambitions above MFC the same as Ross did, but he just tells the press he wants to play for us and he keeps playing well! Looking back we all prayed McGhee would stay along with Reynolds, Porter and Hughes. Now I don't think it would make us any worse if we lost any of them. Don't know who we could bring in to replace him but I wouldn't be sad to see him go
