  1. Brilliant result! Would never have had JoB as scorer today but well in son! Moan the well
  2. Poor penalty from Forbes, almost looked lazy! His first few penalties this season were right in the corner but that one was perfect height for the keeper. Hopefully give him a boot up the arse and he'll bury the next one.
  3. Conceding 5 (at least) to St Mirren is not good enough! Really need to sort out the defence, we don't look capable of scoring more than 1 consistently so really need to build from the back. Back to the league then I suppose, hope to fuck we dont get saints away in the Scottish
  4. Sky sports has us Ruddy Saunders Craigan Hutch Mouta Reynolds Coke Hateley Murph JO'B Lukas Forbes is on the bench! Looks like Gannon has adapted to what he saw on Saturday, hope it pays off
  5. It has been coming though, if we had made it to half time I would have fancied Gannon to change it up and maybe sneak a win but I will take a draw now
  6. This game sounds shite! Got 1-0 all over it, jammy goal either way will win it, just hope its our jammy goal
  7. Radio suggesting Gannon is thinking about making an early change!? That would be early indeed
  8. Cannot believe they missed the two headers at the end! We have the luck with us this year, that's 2 open goals been missed in the last two games from headers, but we earned it today. What a performance today every player, to a man, was outstanding. Major credit to Murphy though was starting to doubt his ability as a winger but he was immense especially second half! Moan the Well!!
  9. Sellick throwing everything at us now, Wilson off McCourt on. Hold it tight boys Edit: Coke is the daddy! Lovely skill from the back
  10. Halsman on for Humph, lets see what you can do son
  11. Hateley has been superb! Feel like a goal is coming though we need to keep it solid
  12. Murphy looks to have had an injection of confidence. good to see him taking men on again and beating them! Goal midweek must have done him some good

We didn't half make it hard for ourselves tonight. Could be the story of our season though if we don't get a striker in Jan. Porter would have had 4 or 5 tonight the quality of the balls into the box from yassin and hammel were top drawer but there was no one on the end of them. Lukas does not look like hes up to much at all but Yassin was outstanding! Coke and Hately took a while to come into it but looked better as the game went on. Looking at the stats 3-2 wasn't a fair reflection on the game 10-1 would be more accurate but delighted to be in the draw. The run goes on Jim Gannons Motherwell Army

Forbes for me, boy is an absolute legend in the making Esson was overall motm would have been 10-1 if it wasn't for him
  16. Think it's something to do with Jim O'Brien, he has won 3 in the league already this year and gave away one in Europa. He has been electric, cuts inside the full back and lets himself get taken down! Oan yersel Jimmy. Hat's off to Forbes, thats 6 for the season now?

Tough choice but went for Saunders, he was outstanding at the back today!
  18. Delighted with the performance today, the defence and midfield were immense! Was pretty worried when I heard Craigan was dropped but Saunders was immense, although that fat turncoat h*n didn't pose him too many problems. How can he be a professional footballer and in that shape? The midfield were superb, Coke and Hateley really stood out for me but JO'B was top drawer aswell, ripped the pish out their defence, so gutted he missed the penalty though. However I knew he was missing it, there should never be a clamour for the ball at penalty someone should know they are hitting it and that should be that. The last time that happened we saw Jim Hamiltons horrid effort against Hearts. Gannon should have a word and have Forbes no 1 penalty taker and x no 2 etc so we don't see that again. Thought the keeper was quality aswell apart from one moment of madness. At half time noticed Gannon sprint from the dugout to stop Ruddy arguing with the linesman and ref, well done JG, all that would have led to would be a booking. Overall delighted with a point and the potential of the squad but gutted about not getting all 3 points

    The Squad

I voted worse, purely because we have lost a lot of goals over the last year or so with McCormack, Porter and Clarky all leaving and I don't think we have replaced any of them! Hopefully we will get more goals from midfield as I dont see Sutton or Murphy hitting 15 each. However I do think the midfield is much stronger, Slane and Forbes are like new signings as is JO'B who looks like a new man. Also Coke looks the part and Hately looks like he can do a job, jury is still out on Hump and Jennings but at the least they bring depth along with McGarry, Las and Fitzy so this area is much stronger. Defence is much the same glad we got a right back in as I dont think Saunders will last a full season but he has shown potential! Hutch looks a great prospect and Reynolds looks more steady so all good Only place we are worse off is up front and it could be the area which makes the difference between top 6 and bottom 6.
  20. Really tough call between Forbes JOB and Hutchinson but Hutch just shades it for me. Dealt with Kyle and Sammon brilliantly and his goal was a peach
  21. JO'B was immense! Think that was the best game I have seen him play in a well shirt, when MMG played him left wing he used to hide so delighted to see him have a great game. Hutchison looks superb, dominated at the back against two big strikers and what a finish for the goal. Superb team performance, if only Forbes strike had went in at the end though... Delighted with the three points! Still waiting to see the best out the new signings I think but Coke seems the pick of them, he was brilliant today. Jim Gannons Motherwell army!
  22. He was born in Bellshill, lived in Orbiston. That's why the sports centre in Bellshill is named after him
  23. Fukin quality from the wee man! what a left peg he has on him
