  1. Great thread.

This is when it starts, Dossers. This is what we have to do. Turn out in force, make a noise, stop the bollocks with the moaning and abuse from the stand - encourage the team and prove we're not the idiots some of them must be thinking we are.

If there was any need for a twelfth man it's Saturday. We are well capable of beating ICT with a bit of effort.

With a huddle for Uncle Phil starting the game, and the anniversary of his death, emotions will be high. Let's not waste those emotions. Let's show it for Phil. If his legacy stands for anything it's team and fans TOGETHER. Now is the time to start that again.

You know, there's a thread elsewhere that asks your abiding memory of Phil O'Donnell. Mine is last Christmas, against Dundee Utd, he's just ran the length of the park and was standing outside the penalty box against the Coop. David Clarkson was tearing the Arabs apart. We had never played so well. He'd taken a moment, looked around, and had the biggest grin on his face. That's my boy, he was thinking, this is my team...

It's time we stepped up. For the skipper. For the team.

    Mon the Well.

Have to say, that bit sent a shiver down my spine.

Brilliant post, get in about those highland bastards!

  2. Why do you come on and tell us everyday how good Mark McGhee has been for us, and dish out all these claims. Not trying to be harsh, but to say McGhee has made us financially secure is just a lie.

The guy wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the club giving him a massive rise in wages. It wasn't because he 'loves the club so much' he didn't go to Hearts, he successfully used that to get more money out of our club.

McGhee hasn't done a thing for our finances, the reason we are now operating at almost a profit, or at least breaking even is down to John Boyle. Sure he's alienated 70% of the suppport in the process, but there you go.

I was talking about your chairman, John Boyle, being frugal, so doon you go.

  3. Everything will be fine with your team. Too good to go down, but competing with four very good teams to get into the top six, so there is no shame at all if you don't manage it this year. Next year the optimism every fan gets at the start of the season will kick in, and you will all go back :)

  4. He has made your club financially secure, which is a blessing in the current economic climate. I see what you're saying and that man, but I think he might have been looking to long term sustenance rather than short term gain.
