Does anyone know when the next U20s home game will be? Had a look at the fixtures there. I see we were meant to be playing St Mirren yesterday. Obviously that didn't happen, any idea of when it'll be rescheduled for?

Game is 2 days away and no thread yet.
A chance to go 7 points clear of Utd and possibly the bottom 6. I'll say 1-0 to us, Higdon to score.
If we win, we'll go 10 points clear of united and have a game in hand of them.

Celtic play Spartak Moscow away on the Tuesday after they play us not sure if that's effecting at all. Couldn't imagine them playing the Sunday-Tuesday so if there was to be a change i'd imagine it'd be early kickoff. They might just be choosing not to show it.

I'm a fairly new Well fan.
I started going to the odd game a few years taking my boys along ago to avoid them supporting either half the the OF. I have grown to love this club to the point I have no feelings towards my "former team of choice" and was on the brink of buying my first season ticket. I held off as holidays etc meant I would miss the first 2 home games.
Now this.
This meddling is directly stopping me from going to games and putting money into the club.
To be fair the major fixture changes only really effect the away games so far. After taking into account the fixture amendments, we have 6 home games. Four of those are still the original 3 o'clock on the Saturday, one is an earlier kick off on the same date as it was originally scheduled for. The only one where there's actually a date change is the Friday night Hibs game.

Pretty sure I read in the paper last week at that point we were just short of the 4000 mark and last year including half season tickets we had a total of 4091 sold.

Fair enough but I'd have thought we would got a decent amount over a season. They had kiosks all over the stadium and even a wee desk in the Cooper Suite pre match. There's a Ladbrokes at Perth, Tynecastle & Ibrox. If it's good enough for them it should be good enough for us.
Even if it was just a small income for the club it's better than a poke in the eye with a shitey stick.

Have we burned our bridges beyond repair with Ladbrokes when we were sponsored by JAXX? All the kiosks around the stadium must have generated a fair whack in rent.
You'd imagine if we could get them or another betting company on board that would generate us quite a bit of cash.

I noticed on the Ross county website a couple of weeks ago that they had a 'we are on our way up' fund to help them out financially in the spl. basically it's done through the club shop and you just put the amount you want to give into the shopping basket and it goes directly to the club. Their suggested amount is £20. Even if that was done over 4 installments over a year that could help quite a bit. Below is the Ross county model.

That might be the case Cakes. I was answering in respect to David and Stall's questions. I've never seen anything from Dazzer to say he was the same person though i'm not on the boards a lot of the time, Apologies if I missed it.

Funnily enough, Dazzer seemed to start posting about Motherwell and Humphrey a couple of months after Tartan Copper 2 stopped coming on the boards. TC2 was very Pro Humphrey and was prone to doing comments in capital letters much like Dazzer does on occasions. If I recall correctly someone had exposed TC 2 about being on message boards of whatever team Gannon had just took over bumming about how good Humphrey was to them and he should be signed etc etc. It might all be a coincidence though...

Thanks steelman I was well aware that Ian was being sarcastic regarding jim Baxter however using a player that was alive would have helped to put his point across better.
Regarding McDonald, although he was on a month to month contract he was effectively without club as we got him for nothing. He had played 2 games in total for Wimbledon. So IMO I wouldn't say he was signed based on being watched and signed from his performances with his previous club. I'd say he was signed based on impressing while he was on trial.
