Just seen that. Thought\hoped it might have been the case but it'd be interested to see the reaction on here. Especially after the Reynolds thread.
-
See on FPC someone has posted that there is a strong rumour that we have all but signed another ex-Well player. I suspect that this site would explode if the rumour turns out to be accurate. It's none other than .................................................... Marc Fitzpatrick.

Suspect we'll get Celtic.

BBC in Lazy Journalism SHOCK!!!! Spot what's wrong with this story.

I see he's bumping his gums about Derby having agreed a higher fee for Bryson than they're willing to pay for McGuire. Broon's rationale behind it is that McGuire had had one more cap than Bryson so should be worth more. He seems to have missed the fact that McGuire is out of contract. Yes they may be entitled to a payment but if decided by a tribunal it will be nowhere near the £400K that he wants. So it may be better to take what they can and run.

On that video alone I think we should sign him back up, an attacking trio in Faddy, Fowler and the real Casa will rip defences to pieces.
-
Thought I'd add this to the thread. Las has tweeted he's been at Faddy's house trying to get him to sign for the Well but believes wages could be an issue. Surely with Fowler and Faddy we'd win the SPL and they can share a bit of the profit from the Champions League slot that would give us.

Even on strict you still get a photo of him with a mouthful

The gist of the Express Story is that we are competing with Non-League sides in England who can pay more than we can. McCall says that some of he is finding it frustrating that some players would rather drop leagues for more money than challenge themselves to play at a higher level. He appreciates that family etc. also comes into play and is another reason why players would opt to stay local. So he is now at the point that he has players looking at all their options before making their decision or looking at SPL players or Scottish lads that have gone down South and looking to come back. He is trying to get Gunning back on loan but this is another stumbling block as it'll be late in the window before he'll know about loanees as the English teams won't decide on their squads until then. He is interested in Hughes and Porter has been put to him to but admits even those deals would depend on finances as they're both on much more than we can afford.

With a new manager in at Barnsley O'Brien has a clean slate to prove his worth so definitely can't see him coming on loan either.
-
Re: McCormack. He wasn't on loan to us, we got him when he was released from Rangers. The season before he signed for us he was on loan at Doncaster from January to May.

Well Done to everyone involved setting this up yesterday. From where I stood under the cards, it just looked like bands of claret and amber. It wasn't until I saw it on the TV this morning, I realsied how well thought out this was. Congratulations. Get Ready for the 2012 Cup Final.

The Cup is ours, I have had it guaranteed. Well I didn't win the Euro Millions last night so it has to be our time to lift the cup again.

Raise A Glass To The Ones That Won't Be Here This Time Round
Well-Made replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
Was thinking about how he'd have enjoyed this on the way up the road today. Met him a few times, sound guy and missed at times. Him and Kylie used to provide the entertainment on here. -
So really we should see a rise in ST's or attendance's next season. Well, there was a lot of folk said they wouldn't be back until he's gone. Maybe there starting back on Saturday.
-
Now that we've got let him get over confident about next weekend, lets get Suty and co back and show them the the real Motherwell!! Never for one moment think that today's game is just a marker for next weekend. Murphy has had a couple of games rested as has Sutton. With Jennings and Lasley (hopefully) next weekend the midfield will be tighter and harder for Celtic to break down. My main concern is the defence, we really are leaking too many goals but if they get their heads into the mind set that it's just 1 game (all be it the biggest of some of their careers) they need to concentrate on we could be alright. It's about time we did one of the Old Firm at Hampden.

Just putting my details in for the Ballot Site, disappointed you can't distinguish the tickets you want. I need 3 (1 Adult and 2 Juveniles) so would prefer to be able to get a chance at the family section if any left. With the way the ballot is set up I could end up paying £75 which would put it out of reasonable pricing for me at present. Seeing what has been allocated as the family section, can see a lot of other families being in the same boat. Looks like I'll need to see if I can get a ST Holder to help out.

That is indeed the case. However if Celtic win tomorrow it could make for an interesting last day of the season. MORALITY QUESTON Imagine if you will that Celtic need to win against us to ensure the title. Do we let them win therefore ensuring Euro Football (win or lose the cup) or do we go and play to beat them, meaning we have to win the Cup for Europe. You are the manager what do you do?
-
Well done to everyone at the Club. Solid first half performance and enough done in the 2nd to make sure we are back at Hampden next month. Now for a few beers to celebrate.
-
Does that mean you got it wrong? Surely not!!! I didn't see a sorry in there. So it can stay.

Seeing as I am working away this week and not sure when I'd be up the road on Friday,I thought I'd maybe struggle getting excited about the game on Saturday. How wrong i could be. Been sitting staring out the window at another Amber and Claret Stadium for the last 2 days. The mood is definitely swinging the right way. In case you hadn't figured out where I am yet.................................................... Bradford. More than one connection going on.

Quite agree with hose sentiments. You don't need to read the thread if you're fed up with. By posting in it Ian, you've is bumped it back up to the top. Oops now I've done it.

If we do sell Randy, I hope that Mr McCall can dig us up a decent replacement. Over the last 2 seasons we've been spoiled with keepers that know how to keep the ball out of the net. Don't want to go back to the ones we normally get.
