Wonder what odds I'd get for Jenno being given a red card this afternoon. Looking at the midfield he'll have to break up the attacks in there. Add Brines into the mix ...................................... Could be a bad day for the 'Well.

Mark Benstead tweeting that SM is looking for at least one maybe two loan signings due to Saunders injury. I thought we needed two prior to his.injury

Their has been a lot of housing been built between Croy and Broadwood since we last played there. There's a new road as well.

Money issues and run-ins with NLC over rent payments for their stadium. There was also some skullduggery with their old board. To avoid administration they terminated all the first teams contracts in 2009. Jim Duffy took charge about February this year and is now putting his stamp on them. We should win the game but it may not be as easy as some think.

The BBC have got a report into the price of football for the English Leagues and the SPL. Basically they have asked each club for their adult ticket prices. They have worked the table on the cheapest match experience (ticket, programme, pie and tea.). I must say that I am a little disappointed in our placing in their League table. Shows though that the club need to do more to bring in more supporters, whether home or away. Granted this doesn't appear to include season ticket prices but rather PATG. Shows though that we could maybe do some work yet to attract more fans. Inverness have come out top with their cheapest adult ticket being £16.00. Celtic, Rangers and Hibs are the dearest at £22. BBC Report We do move up to the 3rd lowest if the dearer tickets are used.

Just had a text from a Rangers fan stating that Rangers are supposed to be putting a bid in for Murphy. No source confirmed yet, so not sure if true or a wind up. If the latter it fits in well with the Express story, a load of pish from lazy hacks.

I think the reason Derby suited was his girlfriend was doing her Law course in either Derby or Nottingham. Sure though she was Scottish.

Would love Faddy to be back but that's for another time. Nicky Law has just tweeted to say he has just landed in Scotland with mother.

Looks like we couldn't compete with teams in the lower leagues again. Stirling Albion have signed Fagan. Gutted we've missed out there.

Mr Burns is tweeting that in tomorrow's express there is Steven Jennings on his future as McCall is about to make his 2nd signing.
-
Apparently in an interview that the old codger done today he mentions a keeper joining tomorrow and possibly another player joining up. Sky Sports are reporting they could have a Spanish midfielder join on trial. One of the Aberdeen Forums mentions Jennings and 2 or 3 other players, so nothing definite.

Could he come back? Be careful what you wish for.

What needs to run concurrently is the sponsorship AND the agreement with the strips manufacturer. Part of the Fans Charter that was drawn up was there would be a minimum of 2 years between changes. This hasn't been possible due because of the sponsorship recently being for 1 year deals. Some fans may be sceptical and say it's the way the Club negotiate the deal, deliberately only offering 1 year deals, so that fans put their hands in their pocket every year. Others would say there isn't anyone clever enough to think that way at the club. The 1 year deals also means that the club can get away with changing the template every year. The thing that has to be pointed out though is we aren't the only club changing strips every year, you just need to look at the new strip thread in Other Football to see that.

It wasn't reopened by something else. There was another post from a user showing a picture that had already been removed from the facebook page of the Club. So it was only right it was removed from here as well.

He's also in his last year of his plumbers apprenticeship and still has exams to take before he's qualified. So if he's ever go to full time, then now's the best time to do it.

Looks like Fraser Wishart may have something to say about that. Seems he's right pissed off that "his" members are getting treated badly as it is and most are on, what he is calling, term time salaries. That and full time footballers are getting part time pay. Mr Wishart's thoughts.

The story already said there'd be more extras for those that put in more cash to the club but we do need to wait and get all the details before we can make a decision. This is the part that is worrying me as well. At present I am about to go into my 3rd year without a season ticket as I find myself out of work again. If I can't afford the season ticket, I won't even to take it on instalments in case I can't afford it one month, then I'm not going to be able to put cash into this scheme either. A couple of months down the line who's to say what happens. I could\hope to be back in work before the season starts and I may have the cash then but surely it's this time of the year the club needs to drag in every penny it can. If it's going to rely on the fans to get it through this time of the year we could see the club having to go down the Stirling route of getting trialists to pay, just to keep the club afloat. Having said that I'm glad we're not going down the reported route that Rangers are. i.e. Using the season ticket sales for the next few years to get a loan to bring in players and complete the buyout. A'la Leeds and Newcastle. Look what happened to Leeds.

Bop is indeed correct. Looks like Mr Burns is either being lazy or just being creative and erasing where Hefferman was playing last year. His twitter last night stated he played for a big Championship club last year, but he actually played for Wednesday in League One. So Chris Porter still available
-
He didn't play in the Championship last season though. Burns said he was with a big Championship side last season. He was released by Doncaster in May last year and signed for Sheffield Wednesday.
