  1. Just back after queuing since 745, well organised as usual MFC.

    Was that at Fir Park?

Walked up to the Brandon shop about half 9, filled out a few forms while waiting in the queue, shop opened at ten and was back in my house for half ten.

    Great service and well organised!

  2. so it's a ballot that's not actually a ballot? if it's a vetted application process then that's fair enough.

it might soothe people's fears a bit if it was advertised as such.

I don't know that for sure I'm just guessing that what is for, its easier to vet people this coming week than it will with queue of 1000 outside the ticket office.

Dont want it being full of "them" but if the correct people do not get the tickets they rightouesly deserve then fuck the system, it isnt fair!!

The tickets aren't even on sale yet so how do you know that these "rightouesly people" will not get a ticket? How do you know that the system isn't fair?

  4. I have applied for tickets for the Cup Final and I really hope i get them. The way they are getting dished is a disgrace.....

Secondly I blame The ballot system.....

You know how many tickets will be in the "ballot system" then? Never thought it may be a way of screening of which supporters get tickets so the Motherwell end doesn't end up full Celtic fans?

Get a grip, you will get a ticket!

Oh and no, I don't have a season ticket!

  5. I think the ballot is just a smoke screen to try and weed out celtic supporters, dont think there is need to panic but would rather know i've got one secured before the general release.

I agree with you, also suggest the word "ballot" is suggesting there won't be enough tickets when realistically there probably will.

Those without season tickets can input there details now and in 7-10 days will find out if they have a ticket, which in most cases they probably will. This way the staff can check the names / addresses of the person applying for ticket without that person standing 2 feet from them.

  6. Why not just partner up on here?

So all ST holders on here get 4, they keep the tickets they need and then distribute 1 ticket to the registered members of SteelmenOnline who arent ST holders but want to attend. A sort of SteelmenOnline Cooperative. It doesnt help other folks but it helps folk like me, so i'll vote for it. And no to the AV.

I think the point that was being made above though is people having the ability to purchase 4 tickets and then distributing them to wifes, girlfriends, parents who have never set foot in Fir Park. Not everyone is going to want to help random Well fans from a messageboard.

I'm confident though that everyone that wants a ticket will get one, its just like Scotland away games there is always the anxiety of not being able to get a ticket but the majority of people do in the end. Although I think the way its being done will result in larger groups of mates / families not being able to sit next to each other.

  7. But you might be had you agreed in advance with your employer that you would still be eligible for some or all of that bonus in the event of your resignation before the end of the year. We have no idea what Broon and Boyle might have agreed verbally, and as others have pointed out, a verbal agreement is (sometimes) still legally binding.

If it is though Brown is saying the verbal agreement to be the manager isn't binding but the verbal agreement for the bonus money is?

    You couldn't make it up!

  8. You could be right ....but I hope your wrong

Are you meaning you hope they stay up because its a local derby?

I hope to fuck they go down, every game against them has been absolutely shocking.

St Johnstone and Inverness have come up and played some decent stuff at times, where as Hamilton have been utter shite!!!

As Johnstone says ultra negativity does not make good football!!!!!

  9. Strathclyde Police are planning a crackdown on people bringing them into games at this weekend's Scottish Cup ties. Hopefully our more colourful supporters will behave.

Don't want another milky incident now do we

What about Dumfries and Galloway police?

  10. No he got talking to for his two footed 'jump'. bad for that he is but he played the ball cleanly which saved him from worse. The actual booking he got is a mystery. How it took so long for theat bnch of cluggers to get one sent off is another mystery. Yon O'Reilly is one strange fellow.

His booking was for a second two footed lunge, not quite as blatant as the first one though. Ref played on then pulled the game back, could see him pointing to the area of the earlier foul. I was actually surprised he go away with teh first one, definitely seen yellows and even reds for those type of challenges.

As much as it pains me to say it, I actually thought O'Reilly had a decent game. Tried to talk to people rather than just dish out cards left right and centre like he did when we played Hearts.
