  1. Smith. Left short by Reynolds for the first, no chance for the second but claimed the crosses well when required and a fantastic save against Dargo right on half time. Once again, let down by the 10 men in front of him.

Have to totally disagree with that. Yes it was Reynolds who made the mistake that cost the first goal but seconds before that Smith could have claimed not one but two crosses which would have taken the pressure of the defence. Once again he failed to command his area resulting in losing a goal.

It was a fantastic save from Dargo but its his inabillity to come for cross balls thats disappointing.

  2. If it was St Mirren, Falkirk, Dundee United etc we would be agreeing with him.

Our park is a fucking disgrace, we had the chance to fix it and we took the cheap option and did fuck all about it.

We were lucky with the 20k fine, I think were very lucky it wasn't worse like a suspended points deduction!

  3. I seen this happening, it came from the front row of the east stand where a group of young boys about 10 years old were standing, they waited 'till McCarthy turned his back and spat on him. A steward must have seen it happening but maybe he just never seen who did it.

Im afraid I saw the incident from the next section and it was not the group of young boys as you put it. Its a adult who had been abusing McCarthy the whole game, from a few rows back. When the incident happened with Quinn he seemed to jump down and ended up a nearer the front and it was him who spat on McCarthy.

People may dislike McCarthy for many reasons but spitting on someone is just fucking vile!

  4. Nobody is asking for a handout from Inverurie. Our problem is with our club and what we have been told by them.

There was a few disappointed Motherwell fans who couldnt make the game also, taking holidays just to cancel them at the last minute doesn't go down well with the boss!!

  5. That's a fair post Brazillian.

I wouldn't have generally expected a refund after the event but when I was told I would get one thats what I expeceted to happen. No details were taken from me so i did for one minute think that it was a personal arrange between myself and the club. I assumed everbody would be in the same position wether they had phoned or not.

I fortunately got my refund yesterday but that was down to "luck" with it snowing and leaving work early but as I posted the information after the phonecall I am disappointed at the clubs reversal of their orginal decision as it has mislead fans.

  6. But frankly I still think there should be smallprint on the ticket saying that it is valid for whenever the game is played and that no refunds would be available.

Well I'm pretty sure every ticket I have had for a football match has under its T&Cs that if the game is postponed then the ticket will be valid for the rescheduled game or a refund will be given.

  7. I'd agree if it was just the one rescheduled date, but not to offer refunds for a match that was rescheduled four times is a disgrace.

Spot on, one game yeah fair enough but for it to be cancelled 4 times and not offer a refund is a bit much.

People took holidays to go to the games which were cancelled. Poor guys like Dc'd took a week off their work to try and make the game. I think it is only right that a refund is offered.

  8. I phoned yesterday morning and was told the by someone called Leanne that I could return my tickets a few days after the game as well. I specifically pointed out that it would be after the game and she siad that was fine! I can back up 100% what DC'd has said - it is the truth!

I posted this information in reply to someone else asking about refunds. This was a few minutes after my phonecall.

Now I was in the fortunate position of getting sent home from work so was able to return my ticekts yesterday.

Its is still a disgrace that they are giving out incorrect information.

  9. I suspect it'll be £15/£10 but it would be great if they agreed on £12/£6 or something similar, as a gesture to those who lost out by not getting to Inverurie and/or losing days off work.

:D No chance, they have just been set at £15!

  10. So we've just brought in a striker on loan (something most agreed we had to do after Porter left) who is a promising youngster, has netted for the Republic's U19 and U21 sides, has scored for Celtic in the SPL and has featured in the Champions League against sides like Manchester United and folk are still greeting about it before he's even kicked a ball for us!?

It's hilarious how many folk on here think that players who aren't good enough to be starting every week for the Old Firm are therefore automatically not good enough to play for Motherwell!

Absolutely spot on mate, its the same as the comments about Gary Teale not being good enough.

Give the boy a chance for fuck sake, no wonder nobody wants to sign fior us!!

  11. 'Flow,

Now that I can't make today (if its 100% on) or Wednesday, can I still return my tickets?

Coz, I don't quite fancy being £30 out of pocket..

I've just spoken to the club about the same problem, they advised me that I could return my tickets in the next few days and get a full refund.

  12. This is a bit odd....the players have been told at 3ish today that the game is on tomorrow!!!

    :(:(:(

Even if the players were told today it doesnt gurantee the game will go ahead tomorrw.

The weather is very unpredictable in that area, just looks like it will be a wait and see. Nobody can predict whats going to happen.

  13. Falkirk did indeed try to kick us off the park, Daren Barr and Neil McCaan in particular, Referee set the tone 27 minutes un, McBride nailed hammy right on the touchline (east stand side) , If creggens tackle against Ramgers last week was a red card then this one was an arrestable offence.

The referee shat out of punishing some seriously bad challenges n the 2nd half but booked Kimpl for persistent fouling.

I was surprised at Falkirk thats not usually there style, perhaps Yogi felt that following last weeks events they may as well go out and get stuck in cos players will be sent off for very little.

As for thier goal it came after a heavy challenge on Craggs seen him having treatmet and then have tom go off to the side, It seemed like the Ref took an eternity to let him back on, there was a similar sitaution later when 1 of thiers was off as well as crags and the linesman had to let them on the ref seemed to foret they were there.

Can't take anyting away from the boy who scored falkirks goal it was a belter .

Its funny how after Hughes is bleating to the media about how Falkirk never get any decisions, they get away with 3 or 4 certainly bookable offences today.

  14. Well mate I hope you dont see that game then!!!

I hope the game is on so that the vast majority of the 500 fans who bought tickets get to see the game. I would reckon a large percentage will not be able to make it up for a midweek fixture!!!!

  15. Will we not be given the small segregated end of the stand that runs along the side of the park? Would make sense as its smaller than the stand that we are usually in and there is no way the police will allow them to segregate a stand with only one entrance for all fans.
