i have been chatting to english guy who stays in Norway and has for a fair few years. The commentators have been talking up the game, saying we will be a hard team to break down. His comments are below. Lee (tall chap) He is dangerous in the air. He also wins a lot of long balls, heading down to players near him. That's part of their tactics. On the ground he's a bit slow, but strong. He looks like a viking with his long beard. Watch out for the left winger/striker. He's good. Their goalie is one of the best playing in Norway now. They will come at you all the time, thei work like hell. I'm hoping to watch the game on TV.

saunders could do it, it was either brown or gannon that said he is one of the best in the air. Lets remember the talents of Steve McDonald... you couldn't get a sheet of paper under him when he "jumped" for a ball in his 10 mins of fame. just my opinion, Reynolds needs to get away. I think we have taken him as far as we can, and a fresh start at a new club could improve him. suppose it depends on the club. although you can bet if he is still here in January there will be a 50k bid from the old firm for him. I also fancy seeing a Craigan and Hutchinson partnership as soon as, Hutchison has looked a cracking player so far, just hope he is now fully healed. ps Motherwell89 - keep the faith buddy, don't let the knockers deter you. I checked with the box office and you can buy tickets up till 6:45 for the game. Lee

I am still waiting on my renewal letter.... from about 3 years ago. I have phoned them every year and every year they say we have sent it (i have checked the address with them and it is correct). doesn't cost any extra to send to linlithgow than it doe to motherwell. Lee

100% agree elder. the atmosphere was amazing at times tonight and i am sure it helped the players.... well maybe no the defence it did feel a bit busy tonight and it was good to see things flying off the shelf in the shop too. will it continue though??? Lee

who says loan players don't care about the clubs they join? and i remember a few guys coming onto this site and saying he is a lazy fu cker who doesn't care. well take a bow Duke, cracker of a game mate and to score that goal with only 1 good leg amazing. the guy has been carrying an injury for a few months now but always wants to play and gives his all when he does. He could teach a lot of players a thing or two about commitment. i would if if he could stay, but hey lets just appreciate him while he is here. Lee

considering the amount of games i missed this year my cost per game is around £30 a game... i might just pay to get in next wednesday i like motherwell's thinking on this but it normally goes against us.. fingers crossed we get a repeat of the aberdeen game, although i would like it wrapped up after 20 mins Lee

Motherwell Maveric = Jim Gannon by any chance? or is the rink back????? we need all the guys to come back, we have a settled team with good youngsters coming through, but unlike when gannon was here we need to introduce them gradually. If we need to run out and sign up another 6/7 players then we are back to square one. Lee

I still can't believe Maurice Ross chipped Marshall from 20 yards... game finished right there. no matter the result you don't leave until the game is done. The celtic semi was heartbreaking, watching it back how high did ritchie foran jump to score that goal???? The flask came on that game for a debut (?) just couldn't get the second goal, McDonald was pulled down for a stick on pen too.... just typical! ahh well always next year. Lee

never mind just JOB, i would gladly swap him for craigen, hately, coke, hammy etc all to sign. There is a solid team in there and it will be tough to replace all of them at once. Lee
