Haha, rumour has it Lennon was only going to sign him if he could play centre half.

I'm not a fan of walks of any description to be honest, but what goes on behind closed doors is fair enough. Didn't see the relevance of the instrumental of No Surrender amongst the Motherwell songs, but I suppose no one can indefinitely say that's what was being played! Other than that, the only gripe the Smeltic fans could have would be that the instruments used are flute and drums, which are also used in the Hibs walks so many of them frequent, so them being on their high horse doesn't wash. Anyway, enjoy the below video for the best fhans in the world: Celtic fans mock the Ibrox disaster and the death of Davie Cooper http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9wkjcHahdU

What exactly did Faddy stand to win if he joined Celtic this season like?
-
Since I've started going to the football I can only ever remember seeing two foul shies given. I reckon if you looked closely you could pick faults in most shies. I don't think it's disadvantaged Hibs, throughout the course of the season I'm sure they'll be on both ends of a foul shy!

I'll shout it at 12.22 if you split the sweep with me!
-
Yeah, now I have to pick and choose away games, if one was on the TV, it would make my mind up for me. Save my money for one I wouldn't be able to catch the ninety minutes of otherwise.
-
I'm only going by the highlights, but the one from close in was an absolutely tremendous save, the header was unlucky and the one Murphy put him through he took a slightly poor first touch which let him down. 6 goals in 12 games is a fine return. If he can keep that ratio up we're on to a winner.

Anybody know if there's a student gate on Saturday and if so, how much it is? Official site doesn't seem to have the info. Edit: Checked Hibs site. £22/£12. That could potentially tempt me into going.
-
Yeah, as I say, he's played some part in every game since his debut. He made his debut after we were out of Europe that year.
-
I think over the course of the season he was a sub two or three times. But came on to play a part in every game.
-
Hateley has played some part in every single game since his debut!
-
Maybe a little harsh, but I don't think we can afford to leave a player of Hutchinson's ability out.
-
If my memory serves me correctly, they have only played together once at centre back, against Hearts in a 1-0 victory with Forbes scoring. Missed the game on Saturday myself, but the Aberdeen game aside I wasn't really impressed with Clancy thus far. Would have no problems putting Hutchinson straight back in at his expense.

The fact there's a 17 page thread about this on October 2nd is a farce, but believable from some of our support. This time last season (ten league games in), in all competitions Sutton had played 16 games, scoring 3 goals. Higdon has played 11 games, scoring 6 goals. I know which I'd rather have. I don't doubt the effort of either of them, but there were plenty of times in his Motherwell career that Sutton when not scoring was very ineffective and there seemed to be a love in with him. I think it was in this thread also that it was pointed out Higdon had a far better goals to games ratio than Sutton last year, also taking into account he was playing for the team who were second bottom.

Would definitely disagree with you there, sat in the Cooper for fifteen years until this season and although the Cooper was dull and lifeless at times, I never at any point experienced anything like the booing I have heard at certain points in the East Stand this season, the abuse of Higdon on Saturday in particular. Sounds a bit like an idealism Bucs, you would always get someone showing objection and causing an argument! Anyway, back on topic the boys at the far end of the stand are doing a fantastic job and even if there had been a boo down that end on Saturday it would have been drowned out by Craig Brown bashing, which is perfectly fine by me!
-
Highly doubt he'd have left us for £2k a week, if we offered him less it wouldn't have been much less. My guess is about 5k a week.
-
As mentioned before I would rate Jutkiewicz, Clarkson and Porter above Sutton and I wasn't too gutted when he left. Had purple patches but could never find consistency. Can't see any teams who could manage to meet his wages but I wonder if he'd be willing to do a Bobo Balde and sit out his contract in the stands.
-
Other than Saunders we have no one suitable. Of our regular starting eleven, only three are Scottish- Murphy, Hammell and Lasley. The only player with first team experience on the bench who is under 21 is Bob McHugh, and I think MacDonald, Griffiths and Russell are easily a better option than him.

A club's most capped player is based on how many caps he earned whilst playing for the club, not the amount he has in total I'm sure.
-
Think I'm going to break my 100% attendance for this game and watch it in an unnamed local establishment! Tend to boycott Celtic Park and Ibrox by rule, don't like putting any money into their club, don't fancy sitting behind a massive pole or suffer the regime by the security. Add that to the fact I'm going from full time work to being a student soon, so would rather keep my funds for a game I won't have the opportunity to watch live.
-
The way the SPL works, I wouldn't be surprised if Danny Lennon won it!
-
A one year deal for a player with SPL experience when we are thin on the ground? Hardly seems a travesty.
-
The Wishaw Press said he picked up a knock in training and wouldn't be risked.
-
As I've said previously I would rest Humphrey, nothing to do with ability, he has looked far from 100% the last two games. Dazzer, we get your opinion is pro Humphrey, are others not entitled to theirs? Your constant defence of him reminds me of the guy on the old Football Network forums who defended Woods constantly, only to reveal he was his nephew when Woods got released. For the record I rate Humphrey very highly, but that doesn't mean everyone else needs an identical opinion to mine.
-
Would bring in a few players but not Arsenal style. Humphrey definitely needs a rest, he looked like he was carrying an injury again yesterday. I'd go with something along the lines of: Randolph Hateley Page Hutchinson Hammell Carswell Jennings Forbes Law Higdon McHugh With Murphy somewhere on the bench incase we need him.
