  1. All I know is we won't keep a clean sheet! Can't see there being a big away support, most folk keeping cash for tynecastle and cup game in next fortnight. Main stand I take it?

Hopefully they see a Killie win. Owens luck has to change.

To be fair, he carried us last year and is now earning a fortune at Rubin Kazan. Not a Killie player anymore, so don't give a fuck. You allowed to pub Saturday for pre match pint?

    Totally different players.

Fair point but you generally want somebody who uses their talent and have an end product. Faddy was immense for Scotland, carried us in games but of what I saw of him when I worked in brum and on TV in other games for brum and Everton, he didn't have same impact down there. Purely my opinion though.

    Would be rude not to.

I like Faddy but Everton have had numerous far better players in past 20 years. Still a better move for him than the shambles that is Celtic though.

Aye Arteta, Rooney, Gazza etc couldn't lace his boots.....
  9. Untrue, our wage bill is lower than at any time under Jefferies. We couldn't compete with Motherwell in terms of wages for Higdon, same with St Mirren for Carey. KS just seems to be able to persuade players to sign in order to put themselves in the shop window. Buijis being the class example. Around 300 games in Dutch Top League, 70 odd of them for Feyenoord yet he signed for us even though he was a regular at Den Haag.
  10. You must have been different games from me. He never for near park in last game. In fact he.wasn't even in squad past few games.
  11. The vast majority of the Debt is due to the loans taken out to build the hotel, it just doesn't make enough profit to pay back the loan that was taken out to build it. Our debt was circa £13m at one point, it will be around £8m once the next set of figures are released. Our budget has been cut quite drastically, think KS has £500,000 a season less than what Jefferies had in his last season. KS just seems to have contacts inm which have enabled us to sign a few decent players. I'd imagine we'lll be paying Buijis & Harkins decent money (close to £2k a week) but the likes of McKeown, Dayton (who we signed from Glenn Hoddle Academy), etc will be on lower wages. Dayton is a cracking find and looks a really good player. Shame he missed most of last season after having a very good start. I would be suprised if our budget is more than Motherwell's, it just takes a bit of imagination from the manager to get value for money. We aren't signing too many Scottish based players, as the wages are high in comparison to those in Europes, hence why we've signed, Silva, Gros etc.
  12. Dayton, Harkins, Silva and Buijis all look like they will score quite a few goals this season from Midfield.
  13. I think he had a slight knock. He won't play tonight vs Sunderland but I expect him to start Saturday. Very impressive display for a 18 debutant.
  14. Hopefully your team think its going to be as easy as the majority on here. We played very well on Sunday and were well deserving of a point at Tannadice. I've been impressed with us pre season and we have Buijis (our main summer signing) and Heffernan to come back on Sunday. Looking forward to the game, as I reckon both teams will play the ball on the deck. As for Garry Hay playing left back, I doubt it. Young Rory McKeown played there on Sunday and was immense. He's a speed machine too. 2-1 Killie. Harkins and Kelly.
  15. Seemingly hus connection flight from Dubai (he was in talks with a club there) was cancelled due to a engine fault, so he's cutting it fine to make the Leeds game.
  16. Deal agreed, medical on Tuesday as he is on holiday.
  17. I have been told its defo happening, just like I told you about Grella signing saga last season.
  18. I've been told that he has agreed terms with Motherwell, signed from Rotherham. From what I can gather he is being signed as a potential replacement for Jennings but regardless of whether Jennings goes, he's signing. Couldn't be bothered reading through threads, so apologies if its already been posted. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicky_Law_(footballer_born_1988)
  19. We are in the South Stand, hopefully the bottom tier. If its dry, I don't see why not?
  20. Just like the last midweek game we played at FP when we queued up in pishing rain only to be told the away end was full? Hopefully 1) There is more than 2 turnstyles open 2) If we are in the main stand, we aren't split up into two sections at opposite ends. If we are in the Top Tier of the South, I think i'll go in home end. The view up there is grim.
  21. I dislike Michael Johnston but at least he has stated his feelings all along and is at least listening to the fans on this one. Just a shame some of other clubs like Killie aren't.
