Going by some recent Macron 2015-16 templates I reckon this one would suit our 70s sash kit the best. We are also due a collar on our home top and this just might be the year for it to return.
take my money now please thanks

Dan has to come in. long easily wastes a good 5-10 minutes of a game setting up kick outs. its infuriating watching it.
Dan is a better shot stopper and they are equal in crosses. its a no brainer for me

close to null vote but thought pearo tried hard enough to merit my vote. the fact that a guy who all he did was kick a dead ball is getting votes shows how dire it has become

feeling sorry for myself and for every well fan tonight, the numbers we have taken to these last few vital away games and the money people have spent to do so has been nothing but outstanding, it's the reason why I love supporting this club,
this is my only positive.

joe shaughnessy has also been released by the dons, an answer to our right back situation if none of our current 18 right backs seem to do? he looked like a decent prospect until last season when he fell out of favour

Ramsden, Vigurs and Carswell all looking for new clubs according to PFA Scotland.

interesting why they would have been told when we don't know what league we will be in next season,
I like Ramsden can play a couple of positions and always commited. someone will pick him up,
Vigurs just on a whole never really gelled with the club or we made the mistake of not using him to the best of his abilities, was excited when we singed him.
Carswell is a shame that he never managed to maintain that midfield position, seemed like a decent prospect that gave his all when he played regularly in the team.

Not quite. 2 games left. Best we can do is 6 points. Best each of those teams can do is 4 points as they play one another. That's my understanding.
ah yeah makes sense, so any slip up from either or both of them next week and they are in our sights(assuming we win)
-
so it's back in our hands right? 2 wins and we are safe?
-
in a confident mood, if midden can beat this mob 4-1 we can do the same but to nil...
stick big John in if Grant is firing those crosses/dead balls in like on saturday, I can see at least a brace for him

First time getting a chance to listen to the podcasts, really enjoyed it guys well done, looking forward to the future guests

We have 5 players that have scored more than once this season in the squad. McDonald will leave in the summer, I don't think there is much doubt about that. That leaves Sutton (11), Ainsworth (6), Erwin (4) and Vigurs (2).
You want to 'bin' three of them.
OK......
Vigurs is obviously out the door so you can discount him, Johnson will score more than 2 next season
Erwin will improve hopefully into double figures if he stays
D.Thomas if played regulary will replace Ainsworths goal and then some
-
From our out of contract players I'd say
Keep - Erwin, Mcdonald, Law
Bin - Lawson, Sutton, Ramsden, Ainsworth, Vigurs, Mchugh, Carswell, Cummins, Angol, Kerr
let all of the Loans go home, but maybe try and extend Grant until at least Jan
if this happened we could lineup next season
Twardzick
Law - ? - Mcmanus - Hammel
Johnson - Lasley - Pearson - D. Thomas
Erwin - Mcdonald
subs: Leitch, Moore, Ferguson, Watt, Grant, Reid
A half decent team if we can finally find a decent CB and GK

Got to win the 1st 3 matches, to put pressure on the teams above. Killie have St Mirren and Accies as their 1st two games, which could see them get the points they need for safety
Killie will be going into the st mirren game with 4 defeats in row (providing Celtic beat them tonight) and St Mirren even though highly improbable are still trying to catch us, and surely St Mirren have to score at some point, this could be a wee glimmer of hope for us!
-
happy with the fixtures, if we can get the first two wins under our belt the momentum should carry on through to the last two home games and a youthful ( and dejected) st mirren
-
so do we just forget about the other 24 matches he has featured in where a more mobile striker may have been of more benefit to the type of football we were trying to play?

much like the goalie got slated for a bad mistake against killie, they its only right the striker gets slated for his miss early doors. Critical miss, which has perhaps cost us.
I'm not slating Sutton for that miss but his inclusion in the team instantly reverted us back to the way we played before we 'turned the corner'. We got unlucky that both Grant and johnson were injured, but you don't change a front 2 that are working at such a crucial time of the season
-
Sutton up front an obvious mistake before a ball was kicked, very poor decision
-
Skippy isnt an attacking midfielder. He would be wasted there, he is a poacher type player and would be wasted behind the striker IMO.
When I went to the den earlier this season he was playing an attacking center mid role, commanded the attack and set up a lot of chances, looked in great shape too

read through the first 10 pages of this and I had been convinced by others that IB's time is up.
#CHIPGATE has got me thinking that maybe I shouldn't listen to others on this forum! haha

2 up front, think we should start
Long
Law Laing/ O'Brien Kerr Watt
? Grant Ramsden D.Thomas
Moore Sutton
Lack of Experience at first look after I've typed that out, but Experience has got us heehaw so far this season
Probably put ainsworth in right wing in the hope Law would be quick enough to help when he doesn't track back
If Pearsons fit get him in for Thomas, which means we have him and Erwin for impact if required

Brilliant day, all exciting prospects. tails most definitely up now! let's start climbing the table!

feelings have gone from despair to neutral to overly confident in the space of 24 hours. Current mood is optimistic, hope our lads turn up and give it their all, hopefully that is enough to at least keep us in the tie taking it to Fir Park, COYW!
