Poster something I have not been called before.  I just wish I had said JBA was rank rotten, would have got less coverage.   This forum defies belief.   Been brilliant to watch all season but minute we go on a bad run its back to reality

All forums are like this. I read a lot of them.
Celtic won the league by beating Motherwell
Celtic lost the league against Dundee United.
Iheanacho couldn't score in a barrel of.....worst signing of all time
    Goal: Iheanacho

All I will say is our record away from home against other Top 6 clubs is abysmal. He Managers tactics/selection also saw us wimp out of 2 cup competitions. The only things we can realistically win. Let's not get carried away with JBA. He has achieved nothing apart from pleasant on the eye  tippy tappy football which teams are getting wise to. There is no steel in the team. There is never plan B. He plays the same guys over and over again. Guys like Nicholson, McGee get about 10 to 15 minutes of play when the game is running away from us. Use of substitutes is not good. The only time yesterday we broke their lines was the consolation goal. Apart from that it was the usual slow pass to death build up combined with Kamikaze dithering at the back. There is nothing wrong with getting the ball forward quick but this seems anathema to JBA. So we get a Top 6 finish. The team we played yesterday also have a Top 6 finish and a winnable cup semi after getting promotion from the Championship. I would say John McGlynn has been a more effective manager than JBA. Motherwell fans need to get realistic about what has been achieved instead of drooling over passing drills.

    European football is an achievement.,

We are in line to get it. Falkirk are not.

standard back 4, SODs Welsh McGinn Longelo

Just, fadinger and Watt In midfield

And I think I’d like to see big Eythor fired up front with Maswanhise on the right and said on the left.

this, but we should play with a goalie too

We currently have two right backs and two left backs. SODs is a right back who is a more than adequate emergency centre half and JK who can do a reasonable job covering on the left. Longelo we know is excellent on his day, whereas Wilson may not be up to the task and is getting very little chance to develop at Raith. I'd try to move Wilson on find a better backup option for that position. Sparrow is a midfielder who can cover at right back, but he's not great there, and he's even worse at left back. McGhee is a midfielder that can do a job at centre half and I like him, so I hope he sticks around for a while.

I think that's a bit harsh on Sparrow at RB - he's been pretty solid and makes some really good last ditch tackles.
2 mistakes v Hibs and Celtic have just put a little blot on his report card of late

(And to add I know it's not just yourself that has said it)

I think being realistic I expect that our Squad next season before signings will look like :-

    GK - Ward, Connolly

    RB - Sparrow, SOD

    CB - McGinn, McGhee

    LB - Longelo, Wilson

    CM - Watt, Preistman, Fadinger

    Rw - Said

    Lw - RCC

    St - Bjorgolfsson, Hendry

Out - Maswanhise (4-5M), Just (2.5-3M), Stamatelopolous (200K), Slattery (Free), Gordon (Free), Nicholson (Free), Oxborough (Released), Koutrombis (Free), Halliday (Free), Robinson (Free), Welsh (Returns to Celtic).  (Around 7M in fees)

That would leave us needing a minimum of :- (8 Players)

    - 2 CBs, 1 CM, 2 AMF (Assuming we play same shape),LW, RW and possibly a ST

There is also Balmer - who will leave  but doing very well at Bristol Rovers

  6. Funnily enough if Said scores a tap in against Aberdeen in the first half (or any of the other good chances we had in that game) - we would have subbed the key men off earlier and load balancing would have been easier.

Not to say that JBA wouldn't have made the same changes, just giving an additional point across.
Being more ruthless and clinical allows us that platform.

Ive got to the stage I dont particularly care or worry about who we are playing.

If we play well and up to the same high standards we have set all season Im pretty confident we will get a positive result.

The fact the game is at home and against a team struggling at the wrong end of the league means we should definitely be targetting 3 points here.

Depending on fitness / availability Id probably play without a striker again as it causes opposing teams all so

rts of problems due to our movement.

A wee cameo for the big Viking off the bench will do fine.....

                                Ward

    Johnny       SOD McGinn    Longelo

           Slattery Priestman Fadinger

           Maswanhise   Just     Said

This team but Sparrow for Johnny & Gordon for Sods

  8. Mystic Me - I've predicted Ross County & Aberdeen draws so far - I think  that's 465-1.

But there's more to the gut feel
Ross County - Expected to see Kettlewell back
Aberdeen - expected us to get the hardest non-OF team left.
Hopefully I can get another shot next round.

He’s 36 and probably looking for way more than we can pay him. He’s on 7K a week and turned down offers of around 20K a week from Milwall and Middlesbrough. Plus we Would have to pay a transfer fee to get him from a club who really don’t want to sell him. So I  not sure why he would be linked to Motherwell. .

I agree with the wages/transfer fee part no doubt and I don't think it will happen at all.
But would I have him - undoubtedly
