  1. I remember a game in the mid-nineties at Fir Park where were 2-0 up at one stage and they came back and won 4-2, would that be one you were thinking of?

I think McLeish might not long have jumped ship to Hibs and Jim Griffin was holding the fort.

Might have been Andy. I had it in my head it was 3. perhaps I was more devastated than I thought!
  2. that website has posted my review of jims service

    HAHAHAHAHA!

    Jim Gannon

    05th Sep 2013

    By Busta

Jim Started off so well, replacing all the older parts of the engine with younger parts, these were parts he could manipulate and it was soon revealed the main components were unhappy working with Gannon. Jim eventually went a bit mental and almost ruined the drive in our vehicle. the young parts were also unreliable, has a good eye for talented parts at times

  3. Just like for the Europa League etc, there should be no seeding. But it is interesting how in this case (as a seeded team) we tend to look at it a bit differently... which explains why the big teams that drive the agenda at UEFA will be unlikely to change it

Nope, I still firmly believe that ALL cup competition should be unseeded, whether we benefit from seeding or not.

  4. Details on tickets to be announced tomorrow.

    "Motherwell FC ‏@MotherwellFC

We will have all the ticket price and sale time information for our @EuropaLeague 1st leg match with @fckuban_ru available tomorrow (Tue)."

  5. Whats Jim Gannon up to these days?

If Gannon comes back (Which I don't believe for a second he will) then we will lose Hammell and Lasley. Maybe some others too.
  6. I asked Rabdolph yesterday if he's signing up for next season and he said 'yip just waiting for club to offer me a contract'

I'm sure the club said previously that all out of contract players had been offered a contract.
  7. I agree that in the short term the bottom end would be weak, but over time, the extra finances available would allow them to grow.

It would also mean that those teams around the middle of the table with "nothing left to play for" would be able to field the younger guys to allow them to develop and encourage their growth. This would be good for the clubs as it allows them to sell these players on, and its also good for the national side as young Scots would actually get a chance to play competitive football at a young age.

When we had to throw the young guys in during admin, it allowed them an early development and they have developed well. (Faddy, Hammy, Las, Pearson to name but 4)
