Get the money spent on the team I don't go to FP to sit and look about the stadium I'm more concerned with what I'm watching on the pitch .Very interested to who is next through the Fir Park door I think it will need to be somebody who excites the support but I won't hold my breathe

I think the PA will come under some H&S issue if it's not resolved. I would hope the boss can be given some money on someone he thinks who could put us up a level.

  2. I think it would be good to give SR a slight increase in budget if he has a target or two that he seriously believes  would lift us up a couple of places, without breaking the bank of course.

But I believe from listening the podcast with Maurice Ross it would be better to invest more into the youth setup as we then hopefully can develop a core of talented players who know the club's identity and we can then supplement it with more experienced players. That would be an ideal world and we do need a balance.

  3. I would rather have the chance of us being able to play our youth for a couple of seasons (hoping for a cup win) before they move on to bigger and better things. I understand that we are a selling club and need to balance the books but it is frustrating seeing players being snapped up before they kicked a ball. Then again we have done it in the past to lower league teams.

When the debt is paid off it would be great to see an increase in investment in the youth setup.

  4. Would be good if more youth players can be blooded in during the season but it will be up to the players to take the chance when they get them. I hope lessons are learned from trying to sign bench warmers instead of players pushing for a starting spot.

  5. I take it Long or Carroll are the favourites to be the target of the boo boys for next season?

Can't wait till it gets to the stage the same suspects start writing off signing targets let alone signings barely in the door.

  6. Regarding the whole debate giving promising youth players longer contracts. Surely it's possibly cheaper and less risky tying down the promising youth players hoping to sell them on than possibly paying higher wages for a guy in the English lowers and hoping we can make a profit from them?

I was just wondering if it's better to try and use youth players as backup instead of signing bench warmers like last summer.

There is actually a chance he will be poached by a club down south. That’s going to be the most likely way he leaves us. Come on Yodo I bet you can’t wait to predict relegation again next season ;)

There's no way we will end up in the 2nd Division or what ever it's called. Is there?
