the pitch is in fantastic nick considering the amount of rain we had!! the drains worked perfectly tbh if you looked at the pitch you wouldn't know it had been raining!! even though our houf was flooded!!

if we were working from his list then maybe we would have to push back season 09/10 to start in 2015!!

the top 11 in the SPL is all i want each season!!!

i suspect our head groundsman will just be leaving Fir Park round about now to head home after another successful day he puts in some shift everyday to ensure that everything is running to plan he was in before me and still there long after i finish each day (7-?) The Guys from Greentech have been knocking their pan in everyday these guys certainly pull out all the stops to ensure each part of the project is completed 110% professionally and to an extremely high standard Flow is doing a great job with the site and all the updates I'm at Fir Park everyday but when i come home i still read the updates!! now Flow i've got a wee favour to ask ya..... lol

the pitch is fair coming along now not long before we have a lush green surface!!

nae point in saying john hughes as he's at hibs now!! he would've been great for us i think hughes and nijholt combo!

of course there is additional material being used mate, that's how the pitch will be about 6 inches higher, the root zone is just dumped onto the pitch at the south end and then teh laser control drags it out more in the lower bits less in teh higher bits so it all ends up 6" higher hopefully that answers your questions mucker

this also raises the pitch and levelling it out superbly all will be revealed in a few weeks

@Kmcalpin the water will run towards the nearest exit (drains) its hard to explain why it runs to the drains its just really science mate the water runs through the spaces in the fine gravel and into the pipe so the other soil/material doesn't clog up the drains @Yabba we will still have the slope. We will always have the slope but this time it will be a flat slope if ye ken with a mean it sounds really daft but our playing surface will be flat instead of bumpy a flat slope! honest!
