First half a dozen games in a season are generally unpredictable for most teams and you get some strange results. If were still getting these kind of results and displays come mid October then we can start to panic .

To many players playing for us now who's best days are behind them. McManus, Hammell, Lasley, McFadden and Sutton.

Well were out again early doors and while i get all the talk about punching above our weight a goal would have been nice. Poor tactics and team tonight and in the first game as well .learned nowt I'm afraid.

First well player tae score a euro goal since Hateley in Odense.

Good professional job done by the team and a deserved three points, McManus was my motm. Great start to our league campaign.

Tony Watt would be a great addition to any team in the league, but I'm not for loan deals within the same league (if that makes sense) would rather give our own young players a chance.

I thought Kerr would have been a good addition to the squad , certainty not the finished article but nowhere near as bad as some are making out.

Higdon had a great season and deserved his player of the year award , will he ever have another season like it? ,I doubt it, but he will still be a good striker and all the best to him.

Not overly concerned about losing Hateley and or Higdon ,both have done a good job for us but Hateley is certainly not irreplaceable, and we (or any other club) will ever get another season like we've had from Higdon.. Don't know who he is but have heard were supposed tae be signing the Lionel Ainsworth chappy from Rotherham .

Think Clarkson has another year left on his contract so that rules out a return to Motherwell ,just like Sutton though I would take him back no problems ,Clarky was a good football player if not a prolific goal scorer. Clarkson Faddy and Sutton up front (if Higdon leaves) would be decent. No?

I personally have no problems with Sutton returning to Motherwell, but your c.v on the big man isn't that flattering Sieb...Would any club want tae take a gamble on a player who failed to set the heather alight in a chronic Hearts side. Lol

Who?Would imagine a few clubs would be interested in a decent striker like Sutton, Why? More money.

I would think John Sutton will get better offers from other clubs . Can't see him returning to firpark .
