  1. 2 TO REMEMBER.

Alfie Conn's wonder dribble from his own half and lobbing the keeper from 30 yards. 1500 poor souls at Fir Park saw it. Cannae even remember who against, genius about 1983/84ish. And who can forget that rocket from Colin Oneill against the rotten mob in the semi of all semi,s. Ah heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Jutkiewicze or however you spell it by a mile. Shocker of a first half. Too many believing there own hype. Hateley and Forbes were as poor as I have seen them. Just kept giving the ball away. At least we got a point.

  3. I started with my wee girl when she was about 5/6. Made sure it was a game with goals if you can predict such a thing. Well - Dundee Utd 3-2 or 4-3, she loved it and was instantly hooked. My other lad was about 12, 5-0 versus Killie, again hooked and the other one well he was about 5 too, cannae remember his first game but he turned his coat and went to Accies cause his Papa got him a season ticket. Ah the joys. 2 out of 3 is not bad and they love the roller coaster that is the Well and not an old scum supporter between them.

  4. Wasn,t there but if the chants were as poor in taste as reported then I am disappointed. For those who say anything goes, well that,s just pish and we are going as low as the old scum, but hey ho cannae please everybody. MM is public enemy no.1 but can anyone say we are really missing him?

  5. Sorry, but methinks Craigan is nearing the end of his time here.Gaffer wants a big strong centre back who commands in the air and can play a bit on the deck and not just lump high balls forward. Sutton tows a caravan every week and can only play when the ball is in the air.System did not suit either on Saturday hence the hook but I do think the end is near for Craggs. Been a great servant and will deserve a testimonial but this is the new era for the 'Well.

  6. Craigan was immense last night. I appreciate the original post asking about own goals. I ask why? Who cares how many. He is coming to the end of his lifespan at the club, has been a great servant, captain, spokesman and I agree with Flow. But, and there is always a but, I think we need a change in central defence. But I have no idea what or who. Whatever it is we need pace at the back. All modern footballers need to have speed and we need that big strong commanding centre half to win the high balls. Sorry but for me Crags has not been doing that and struggles against that type of player. But who cares about OG's?

  7. Paul Quinn is shite. Pure and simple. He can do a job at full back and even then he can be a liability. If we had a similar player to Hammel at right back then we would be sorted but for goodness sake the lad is just not good enough. Take anything you can for him and get on with replacing him. He might be able to tackle but his distribution was dreadful. Oh and the lad Saunders is ok but it's early days. Clarky will be the far bigger loss to the team. As for the goalie, he was ok, good shot stopper but Fraser will do as good a job as any.

  8. Last night was like a friendly. We will not lose to them again and I doubt they will score again. That said will we score? Our old achilles heel of cross balls beat us again. Not nearly good enough. Oh and was that a caravan that Jamie Murphy was towing or was he just really slow. What about the startled wee rabbit in the first couple of minutes. He has to up his game big time or maybe he is one of the ones the gaffer thinks isnae good enough.

    0-0

  9. Scottish Cup semi against Celtic 4-2 awsome

The final was magical but the semi was a wee bit sweeter.

3-2 versus Hearts at Easter Road CIS semi.

5-4 versus Kilmarnock many years ago probably mid to late 70s cause Pettigrew and Graham were still here and we were 2-0 down and then 4-3 down I think. Ah memories. So many to mention them all.
