  1. I doubt Robinson knows how he wants us to set up yet, so that won't be a problem. I expect we'll see a few formations before the new season kicks off - and probably a few afterwards.
Once the season is in full swing, however, it won't be difficult to keep tabs on all the other teams in the SPFL, so I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Might seem a bit odd, but will the clubs all need to buy a season ticket for each other to stream games or will they be grown-up enough to sort a reciprocal arrangement?

  2. Really? My memory is the bulk of the fee was for McMillan as he was the more tried and tested and it came out that the fee for McCulloch in the papers was inaccurate and as usual, a bit sensationalist as they liked to label him as a £1m player.

Anytime i want to see the fixtures on the official site i get the white page on my phone.  I usually just leave it in the background& look at something else for a few minutes& when i go back to that tab, its there.

A real pain in the arse for when the wife wants to know if she can do x,y,z on a Saturday a few weeks later.

Just tell her "Naw" as I'm sure it will involve spending a load of money on nonsense.  Obviously the football's not nonsense and I am just as brave with my wife.

  4. Thanks for clarifying- I wasn't sure whether you meant you were at Rangers or whether it was at a game at Fir Park (forgetting we housed them in the main stand).

Disappointed to hear this behaviour is so widespread in their support and not just the minority they claim. I sit in the Cooper so don't have to witness it up close and at least the club has decided not to put them in the main stand any more.

Really quite strange comments.  As fairly new supporters of the club we don’t recognise any of these statements. Well fans in general tend to be very friendly and it’s very much a family oriented club, never had a problem with anyone. In our two seasons at a Rangers those around us were mostly older individuals who spent the whole game spouting hatred. Are Rangers fans blind to what goes on around them.

I'd be interested to read your views as relative newcomers. Your second last sentence doesn't read quite right  - what's been your experience at Rangers games?

I gave in in the end and installed the Podbean player, couldn't see any other way to listen on the phone, seems to work fine and a very good interview indeed.

I used to just download the podcast but installed Podbean last year for something else and now find it quite handy for a few other things and have got used to it. Although there are a few adverts, you can press the 30 second skip button and that's generally about right.

  7. They supposedly had a lot of good chances including a missed penalty and were very unlucky to lose at Pittodrie. They're also a lot stronger at home- this will not be an easy game.

Strangely, they seemed to cause Aberdeen a lot of problems with their set pieces,  a team I would have thought would be well suited to dealing with that.

Disagree, I think he'd do very well at Hearts.

Would be a bit gutted to see McCall in the dugout against us, probably my favourite ever manager for us. The second half of this game was one of my favourite ever watching us...

McCall did so well with us because he was given the money to have players like Ojamaa, Higdon, Law, Hutchy, Hammell, Lasley, Randolph etc. He'll get that again at Hearts.

Good to see those highlights again but I get more annoyed than I should by petty mistakes like the commentator saying that was Faddy's first goal for us since his hat-trick against Livi in the last game of the 2002-03 season. I thought he scored a double against Thistle in August in the last game  before he left.
